Mzuri immediately collapsed. Mufalfa's voice said to Marini, "Marini we must pick up the pace."

Marini went ahead and said to them, "Let's pick up the pace a little." they all looked confused but they did not argue.

Mufalfa said, "I promise once this is all over you shall all rest b ut until then we must get away."

Marini said nothing for a while and they all kept walking. After a minute or two she spoke to Mufalfa in her head, "This new lion..." she said, pausing, "Can we trust him?"

Mufalfa's voice however said nothing. Meanwhile he new lion went over to Dakari, "So a father huh? That's good you know?"

Dakari managed to smile at the lion, "I never said it was bad." however it seemed like there was something in the lion's words, "What makes you say that though?" maybe this lion had cubs in one point of his life, but if he did, why weren't his mate and the cubs with him?

The lion however shook his head and shrugged it off, "Just saying..." He then said, "So how were you able to...you know look past the burn marks on her eyes and everything..."

Dakari said, "They're just burn marks. So what if she will always have those?"

THe lion said, "And her blindness...I mean isn't it hard to know that she'll never see you again or the cubs but you'll always see her..."

Dakari said, "For me? If it's hard for anyone then it's hard for her."
