The Tale of King Moto the Mighty (For TheWhistlerify)

Lumo watched on, he didn't want to help his brother do this, but then he was scared if that he helped the female get away, he'd be punished. Taya yelped as she fell to the floor, she tried to get back up, but the wind was knocked out of her. She shook her head nervously.
---
Moto growled and looked to the horizon,
"If Damoja has hurt Lani, or my mother...". He didn't say what he was going to do, but now the sun was finally set, he sighed. "We best get some sleep".
---
Damoja turned and watched Laini, he smirked to himself, she would be his. Maybe she would never be willing, but he was going to make sure she knew who was boss. Same with Tulivu, although he wasn't as interested in her.

Tulivu looked at the young lioness's injuries, she gave the one's on her neck a breif lick, it would help to heal them anyway. She winced every time she moved, the bruising on her side was becoming more visible, even with her fur.
"I'm so sorry...I shouldn't of done more to help...", she said softly, head hung with the disappointment in herself. She hoped things would get better, although she doubted it.

Kumo smirked, "Don't worry, I'm sure you will." his tone was nothing but comforting though. "And if you don't, then well... It's not my problem." he held her by the scruff with his teeth and decided to have his way with her. After a minute or two it was over and Kumo released her with a satisfied sigh. Unless she wanted to get in trouble with him or Damoja, she would learn to not argue with him next time.
---
Kali let out a sigh, "I hope not, but we'll go help them all one day." she looked out at the horizon for a few moments as well before looking back at Moto. "It's getting a bit chilly now..." she wasn't used to sleeping outside, having slept in the pride's den since she was born. She got an idea however, and it made her blush a little noticeably. "Would you mind if I..." she gestured in his direction, hoping that he wouldn't mind if she'd lie down close to him to get warmer.
---
Laini managed to stop herself from crying any further at one point. She winced slightly when Tulivu licked the bite mark on her scruff, but she didn't complain since she knew that the queen was only trying to help. She sat up for a moment, feeling as if any reason to leave was taken away from her. She felt so ashamed after what Damoja did to her, and hoped that he would at least not make it so painful for her next time.

Even though it wasn't Taya's first time, it certainly wasn't nice. She was shaking nervously all the way through and after he was done. Her ear's were flattened against her head as she watched the male even after he was done. Lumo had turned away, not wanting to watch but feeling a pang of guilt.
---
Moto nodded in agreement, he too had slept in the den since he was born, every now and again he and his father slept outside, but not often. Then he heard Kali ask if she would lie with him, he was caught off-guard and he too blushed slightly.
"Umm..yeah..yeah ok...for survival purposes...", he replied, not too convincingly though. He lay down legs stretched out for a moment.
---
Tulivu was still disapointtented in herself, but she had to remain strong, just for her Pride. She nudged Laini slightly, giving her a little hopeful smile,
"Come now, the sun has nearly set. Even if we have to sleep in the same place as that...monster", she sighed and then continued, "We don't have to sleep near him, sleep near me if you wish".

Kumo smirked at the lioness, "Come on, it wasn't that bad was it?" he knew that he was probably lying to her, but of course he didn't care.
---
Kali's blush remained the entire time. "Yes, of course, for survival purposes..." she forced a smile and then lay down beside him, purring slightly and maybe noticeably at the warmth of his fur.
---
Laini however wasn't at all cheered up by Tulivu's attempts of comforting her. "Is this what I'm going to live like from now on?" she asked, her tone shaky. While she did this to keep Tulivu from getting hurt, she was still displeased at this. "I don't want this..." she felt tears forming in her eyes again and she looked at Tulivu. "Busara would have never forced you into such a thing would he?" her ears flattened against her head as she realized that what happened today was going to become Damoja's habit. She was so young that she didn't even go through her first heat yet, but she was growing up and it wouldn't be long before she would. The thought made her body shake even harder.

Taya looked to the floor, unable to reply, she stayed laying on the floor, still a bit too shaky to stand up. Lumo growled slightly, refraining himself from having a go at Kumo, of course what he done was bad. In any animal's world, mating against the female's will was outrageous.
---
Moto noticed the purr, and he found himself purring back as he edged closer to Kali. He looked back to the sky, a new star was there. He smiled to himself, his father wouldn't die in vain, for he was going to become stronger, with Kali and Marini by his side, he'd return.
"Goodnight Kali...".
---
Tulivu was lost for words at the first few things Laini said, she didn't want to say what she thought, but the lioness needed to know her opinion. Then she heard he dead mate's name and winced.

"I'm going to be truthful with you Laini, I don't think things are going to get better...we all don't want this, but we need to stick together in order to keep spirit's of the past alive, the happiness he can take from us, but not our faith in the Kings and Queen's of the past, they will watch over us. And if I know my son, I think he might return". She stopped before saying, "And no...Busara wouldn't of...no King or lion should...".

It was obvious the lioness was fearing what was to come, Tulivu was maddened. This lioness had been forced into maturity before she was ready, and it can only get worse for her. Sometimes being the most beautiful had downfalls. Tulivu could understand that.

Kumo rolled his eyes, obviously not caring about Taya's feelings at all. He noticed that the was starting to set. Damoja would probably want him and Lumo back by his side soon. He turned away from Taya and walked away, not really caring about whether Lumo was following him or not.
---
Kali smiled at the warmth shared between her and Moto and cuddled up even closer, resting her head beneath his chin and in his mane. "Goodnight." she said, her voice a purr. She closed her eyes and soon fell asleep.
---
Laini went ahead and carried on, "Then why did he? I've done nothing to him, I never did anything bad to anyone..." she sniffed, managing to stop her tears somehow. To her, it seemed like things would never get better, only worse. "I... I'm going to the waterhole... I'll see you later." she knew nothing would happen to her there. Damoja was probably satisfied for the time being and his helpers wouldn't dare to do anything to her because of what Damoja wanted her for. She sighed and walked away, not knowing how long she'll be able to keep her sanity while living with a monster like Damoja.

( I was thinking, maybe Lumo and Laini can meet for the first time now. It can be sort of a first meeting, maybe she can end up opening up to him like she did with Tulivu. Later it can go to the phase of falling in love with each other )

[OOC: Yep ok. Sorry, it's been a couple of hectic days, with New Year's Eve and all]

Lumo looked at Taya, as soon as his brother was out of sight, he walked over to her. He coughed awkwardly and said,
"Hey...uh...you ok?". The lioness didn't move, she gave a quick nod although it was obvious she wasn't, Lumo began walking away, feeling bad about the whole thing.
---
Tulivu sighed heavily, she patted Laini's shoulder,
"Some male lions are like this...some male lions don't understand feelings of others. You have done nothing to deserve this, remember that". She nodded at what she said next, and watched her walk off.

Laini went ahead and headed towards the waterhole, looking down at the ground as she walked feeling ashamed yet looking forward in the corner of her eye every once in a while to make sure she was going in the right direction. Eventually, after what seemed like an endless amount of time, she arrived at the waterhole and sat down. The waterhole was still. She looked down at the water and could see a clear reflection of herself, as well as the clear sky above her. It only reminded her though of how lonely she was feeling at the moment and a few tears rolled out of her eyes, landing in the waterhole and disturbing it's motionless situation, causing the reflections to become unclear. Reaching the back of her neck, she winced slightly as the contact between her paw and the bite marks Damoja caused brought the pain back to her. Removing her paw, she could see it was stained with blood and realized that the bites were still bleeding and that her entire scruff was covered with blood. With a heavy sigh and a few more tears, she washed her paw clean before beginning to drink.

Lumo continued on, steadily padding back in the direction he and his brother came from. He sighed slightly, it was rather nice to be on his own for once. He stretched out a bit before deciding to go to the waterhole, he needed a drink and he could spend even more time by himself.

A few moments later, he had arrived. He noticed that Laini was there, and he also noticed the claw marks on her shoulder and the bites on her neck. Lumo shuddered, thinking of what Damoja did to her. He approached her slowly, not wanting to frighten the lioness, he felt as though he should ask,
"Are you ok? It's just I think those bites...could do with a bit of water or something...".

He hoped he hadn't frightened the lioness, for he was not planning to hurt her. She was young, too young in his opinion for the way Damoja treated her, and was going to treat her. He was only a few full moons older than her.
---
Tulivu slunk towards the den, moving slowly. She wanted to take her time, for Damoja's face was not one she was too keen to see. She was frightened of him, more than she should be considering he hadn't done much to her yet. She was a quiet lioness, and this male could silence her even more.

Laini continue sitting there and drinking, as if drinking so much would help fill up the whole which formed up inside her after what Damoja did. Her ears straightened upon hearing Lumo's voice and she was of course nervous when she realized that the voice did not belong to any of the lionesses but to one of Damoja's helpers. But did Lumo just ask her if she was okay? Since when did evil lions like him cared about anyone but themselves? However, that was the one thing that kept her from freaking out upon hearing her voice.

She breathed in heavily and looked around at him, again reaching out for the back of her neck and returning her paw when it's again covered in blood. In a shaky tone, she said, "Some wounds never heal." She was not referring to the physical injuries Damoja caused her, but to the emotional ones. The last thing that bothered her right now were her bruises. She was too young to experience anything like this, and even if she weren't as young as she was she doubted it would have been anymore pleasant than it was.
