[Request] Freedom OC Pride

Rain walked around as he heard a noise. "Who's there?" said Rain. He heard it again. "I'm prepared to fight!" He got ready for an attack.

OCC: Fixed it!

[Zoketi]

[If you are talking to either me or Zorayda, none of our characters are in a jungle. Just gonna point that out.]

OOC: We should start RPing some more.

[Yeah, I agree. I'm just waiting for Zorayda...all of my characters are with hers. ]

[Baya]

Baya frowned as he walked through the last of the desert, his ears flexed back and his emerald eyes narrowed. The many scars that patterned his hide pained him from the days of walking, and the heat was pretty much making him go mad. Without much water or food, he felt weak but refused to take a rest. He was very much relieved when he finally stopped and noticed the texture of the ground was beginning to change with each step. He looked forward and noticed the scent of fresh antelope and other assorted animals. He turned and looked to his close friend Vitani, who had decided to tag along after her brother had settled in to his won little pride.

Travelling in the desert with Vitani was hard to say the least. Recently, she'd been getting far more upset with him than normal. Instead of fighting it out like they usually did, she just grew silent and ignored him. It was quite annoying, but Baya never caved in to it. He still didn't let any bad come to her, especially when males were implying an advance. Baya did not enjoy what so ever their advances, so he usually swatted them away. Oddly enough, that made everything ok for a little bit, until another fight broke out between them. Right now she seemed to be alright, as she hadn't really spoken of anything or any matter.

"It seems as if we've come across something quite interesting." Baya growled, with a twisted smirk. Where there was so much prosperity, there was sure to be some lions or lionesses to fight for it. His smirk did not fade as he continued on, stopping only to look back at her.

"Come on! Stop being lazy!" He snarled.

[Zoketi]

Vitani bristled instinctively. Her tail swished through the air with a loud whistling sound. "I am NOT being lazy!" She hissed at him, trying to keep her claws sheathed. She narrowed her blue eyes and then turned away from Baya.

She didn't know why she was acting this way, but she did it anyway. Maybe she was brooding....maybe she was just tired. Maybe...maybe...maybe. Vitani shook her light-colored fur and stalked on with her head low. She couldn't think. She was just...confused, maybe. Lost...Vitani had always known what to do, who to talk to and who to swipe claws across. But now, everything was different and she just didn't know. But she couldn't tell anyone. She wasn't used to being weak. That's how she saw it.

She raised her head slightly and let her eyes flick back to Baya. Without speaking--of course--she continued to pad along. Her gaze dropped instantly, and she took cover under her shattered confidence.

[Baya]

Baya rolled his eyes, and followed after her quickly making sure to keep up with her step. He looked over at her every now and again to see if she was showing any signs of improvement in her mood. It didn't seem like it was happening. Why was he concerned? He felt there was something that she wasn't telling him. She always told him when something was bothering her. This meant that either she was sick, or it involved him, hence why she was holding it back.

"These seem like some nice lands. There's a watering hole up ahead." Baya murmured as he increased his trot.

[Zoketi]

Vitani flicked her ears. "Mmh." She grunted in reply, barely glancing up. She watched her paws scuff the ground as she walked, flattening the stalks of grass. She crushed a twig, feeling it snap underpaw. With a sigh, she gazed up at the sky and then quickly glanced at Baya. She dropped her head again, unaffected by her surroundings.

[Baya]

Once at the watering hole, he sniffed the air and a smirk spread on his face."There are others here...good." Baya smirked as he looked over to her. He noticed she was still miserable. He sighed as he sat down, figuring fighting could wait until she was a bit more well rested and refreshed.

"Go ahead and drink. I'll wait." Baya murmured.

Rain started twisting his head around to try to find the noise. "What is that?" Rain thought. He hid in the bushes waiting for someone to come out.
