Kopa chuckled. "I admit that when I was a cub, he used to scare me. It took my mother forever to convince me that he was a friend," he said. He sighed. "Well, let's check on everyone and then go and see him," he said.

Vitani grinned, finding what Kopa just told her rather amusing. "Alright, let's do that."

Kali growled to himself, he had caught a young wildebeest just moments ago. It was still kicking, but his teeth made short work of it's neck and was soon eating. He needed to think how to convince Vitani again, or he'd just have to force her...

Kopa and Vitani finally finished checking on everyone. "All right, let's go see Rafiki," he said, leading his mate towards the mandrill's tree.

Vitani nodded at her mate with a smile and followed him as he led the way. She was bewildered by the size of Rafiki's tree every single time she went there.

Kopa smiled as they arrived. Before they knew it, Rafiki arrived on the scene, along with a much younger male mandrill that seemed to have only recently entered adulthood. Rafiki looked at them. "Greetings, your majesties. With me is my apprentice, Hodari. What brings you here today?" he asked.

Vitani gave a slight bow of greeting to Hodari before looking at Rafiki. "We were kind of hoping you'll have some advice for us." she admitted. She and Kopa could use any help they could get.

Rafiki smiled. "What sort of advice do you seek?" he asked, preparing himself for the request. He got comfortable on an exposed root of the tree.

Vitani said, "Well, anything that might help us deal with this... We're kind of lost." she knew that the mandrill could tell that they were lost, but she always felt the urge to be honest with Rafiki.
