Vitani smiled when Kopa lay down beside her, nuzzling him gently and resting her head down on his paws. As long as he was there she wasn't worried about a thing.

And so, the night wore on. Finally, the morning sun rose. Kopa got up and went to greet the dawn as he always did.

Vitani, having gone through a rather rough night, didn't wake up as early as she usually did. By the time she woke up the son was already more visible in the sky. She got up with a yawn and stretched before going outside, finding Kopa at the edge of Pride Rock like she did every morning.

Kopa saw Vitani as he turned around. He nuzzled her and looked back out. "I can't shake the feeling that something major is going to happen today, something that will change our lives forever," he said.

Vitani returned her mate's nuzzle, "Really? Why is that?" she asked, confused.

Kopa thought about it. "I don't know, Vitani. I just feel it. All I know is that it's going to change everything and we're going to need to depend on each other even more than before," he said.

Vitani blinked a few times before saying, "For a random feeling it's a little specific."

Kopa sighed. "If you can believe it, it's happened before. For example, I felt this way the day before the final battle with your mother and so on. My father later told me that it's the great kings and queens giving me insight," he said.

Vitani said, "Oh, it makes a little more sense now." having seen Nala's ghost she now had a much easier time seeing anything related to the great kings and queens as logical.

Kopa nodded. "Maybe Rafiki can give us more insight into how to deal with this when we go and see him after awhile. Weird he may be but he's the wisest inhabitant of the Pridelands," he said.
