Vitani let out a long sigh, "I'm just glad that it's all over." hopefully her father would not show his face again. Those few moments with her father there made her realize just how much she was still afraid of him, and just how much she loved Kopa and never wanted to end up without him.

Kopa looked back at his mate. "You need to learn to beat your fear of him. Otherwise, he will win every single time," he said to her.

Vitani knew that Kopa was right, but his behavior towards her when she was a cub simply left her traumatized to even speak of him. "I know..." It might sound unbelievable but Zira was actually the kinder parent in the whole story.

Kopa gave a kind smile. "I don't know how we're going to do this, but we have to. It's the only way you'll make it through this," he added.

Vitani nodded, "Yes, I know..." the only thing she actually knew was that she had to deal with this, what she didn't know was how to deal with this. At least she had Kopa with her, that was comforting.

Kopa nodded. "Vitani, would you like to go and see Rafiki? I'm sure we could use his wisdom right now," he suggested.

Vitani thought about it. The mandrill didn't seem to have any advice for them back when he came to warn them, so she didn't see a reason for him to know anything that might help them now. Then again, it wouldn't do any harm. "Alright." she said with a nod.

Kopa sighed. "It's the only thing I can think of. Back when my dad took the throne, he often went to Rafiki for advice. It can't hurt," he said.

Vitani nodded, "I know it can't hurt." she didn't feel too comfortable about going far from pride rock while it was dark now. "Can we go in the morning though?"

Kopa nodded. "Of course. We shouldn't be out right now. We might be attacked," he said, heading back towards Pride Rock.
