The lioness looked at the female cub in Gakuru;s mouth, "Your father is very brave."

The cub looked at the lioness, "He's not my father." before Mufalfa returned though Gakuru was kind of a father figure to her and her brother.

The lioness was confused, "The one across the gorge with that evil lion is not your father?"

The cub said, "Oh, I thought you meant Gakuru... No the one across the gorge is my father, I misunderstood." She hoped her father would be alright.

The lioness then said, "Uh your father's kinda young..." She shrugged it off however and smiled at Gakuru, "You're good with kids it seems."

Gakuru gave her a slight appreciative nod because he couldn't answer with the cub in his mouth.

The lioness said, "Oh I'm sorry I mean sir. You must forgive me!" It seems that Gakuru's father taught her to be nothing but a servant.

Gakuru placed the cub on his back instead, not only so that he could reply to her properly but also because the cub enjoyed riding on his back. "You don't have to call me sir. My name's Gakuru." he offered her a smile.

The lioness smiled but said, "But your father said..." Soon Gakuru's father was yelling on the other side, "My son I'll torture that lioness for this!"

Gakuru ignored his father and said to her, "Don't worry, he can't get to us now. I know about this gorge, it runs for almost one hundred kilometers, it'll take him years to find a way across since there's no way up or down either. As for what he said, ignore it. He's stupid."
