Ahadi's Pride [Private: Natalie and TheGunner18]

Plot:

In the pridelands after Ahadi becomes King. He and his queen Uru have 2 wonderful cubs named, Mufasa and Taka. Time passes, but Ahadi can't choose which one of his both sons will be King. Later on days pass and Ahadi finally decides which one of the two brother will be king, and it is Mufasa. Scar later on grows jealous of his brother and wanders off to the Elephant Graveyard, he meets three hyeanas named, Shenzi, Banzai and Ed, soon they three become friends, while Ahadi doesn't know it yet. After not visiting the hyeneas for a while because of Ahadi being all the time around, Taka and his brother Mufasa meet three lion cubs named, Sarabi, Sarafina and Zira...

"Come now, Maluuni. You don't want to be stuck in here all day long, do you?" Ahadi, king of the Pridelanders, questioned the young cub. He glanced over his shoulder and noticed Uru waiting by the den's entrance. He smiled and nodded once at his mate, signalling to her that he'd be finished talking to Maluuni in a minute. Uru realised this and smiled back at him before disappearing around the corner. 

Ahadi sighed quietly to himself and turned his attention to Maluuni again. He was still young and probably still quite traumatised about what had happened to him just a month or so ago. He'd been left with a very large scar running from the top of his forehead, down over his left eye and then down to the bottom of his cheek. It was something that he'd have to bear for life; a constant reminder to his very troubled early cubhood.  
 
Maluuni refused to move anywhere and simply stared out of the den, occasionally sheathing and unsheathing his claws. He knew that Mufasa and the others would probably just make fun of him; he'd rather stay on his own.

"I...don't really want to go outside..." he trailed off, eventually looking up at Ahadi for a short time. 

Ahadi gazed expectantly down at the cub he had adopted
with a serious expression, hoping to get some sort of reaction. 

"Fine...I'm going." Maluuni begrudgingly pushed himself up from the ground and slowly made his way out of the Pridelanders' den, Ahadi following close behind him. He squinted as his eyes got used to the sunlight that had suddenly made itself more prominent. The young cub noticed the others playing around just a short distance from Priderock but he decided that he should probably do his own thing instead of trying to join in; he'd just be ridiculed even more.

He quickly ran down onto the open plains of the Savanna, keeping as far away from the other group of Lion cubs as he could. Unfortunately, he needed to walk past them in order to actually get where he wanted to go. What made it worse was that it would be impossible to sneak past them due to his outlandish fur colour; Maluuni wasn't exactly the best camouflaged Lion in this environment. 

"Hey! Maluuni!" sighing inwardly at the sound of Mufasa's voice, Maluuni hung his head, bracing himself for the storm of hate that would inevitably come his way. 

"Looks like scar-face here is scared of us!" Mufasa pronounced to the others, walking up to Maluuni commandingly, shoving him slightly.

Adanna a little cheetah cub at the time wasn't yet around the Pridelanders, she was a bit bored and then ran towards her mother, "Mommy? Can I go play with the lion cubs, please?" she said giving a little cute smile and purred while brushing her head against her mothers front leg.

Once her mother gave a nod Adanna jumped up from joy, and then ran off to the spot where the others were. Once arrived, she hid in the long grass stalking Taka a bit because he was mostly the easiest to pounce on. After few minutes of stalking... "RAWR!" she jumped out from the grass and pounced Taka while gave a little giggle.

Taka moaned, "Not again..." he said while getting Adanna off from him. "Can't you just pounce my brother?"

Adanna giggled, "I can't pounce the future King,"

Once hearing 'Future King', Taka got a bit mad on the inside not showing it out, but then went calm, he was really jealous of his brother, because their father Ahadi had chosen Mufasa as the future King.

Adanna then took a look at Zira, Mufasa, Sarafina, Sarabi and Maluuni, "Hello," she said happily and jumped a few times, she was feeling quite playful at that moment.

Zira and Sarafina took a look at Adanna, "Hello Adanna,"

Taka right now was trying to get away to the Elephant Graveyard where he had met three hyaenas who were his friends, but he couldn't sneak away just yet because he could be seen by the other cubs.

Hearing a new voice enter the fray, both Sarabi and Maluuni turned to the source of the noise, albeit Sarabi was much more enthusiastic in doing so. 

"Hey, Adanna!" Sarabi exclaimed in a joyous manner, grinning wildly. Mufasa, on the other hand, simply turned cooly from Maluuni and smiled calmly. He had to set an example, as always; he was the future king after all. And the one almost everyone chose to follow. 

"Good to see ya, Adanna." Mufasa replied, glancing at everyone around him, other than Maluuni who was behind him.

Seeing the chance to make an exit, Maluuni began slowly walking away from the gathering of young cubs. His heart sank as soon as he saw Mufasa's ears twitch, meaning he had most probably alerted him to what he was doing.

"Where d'you think you're going in such a hurry?" Mufasa turned around fully and ran at Maluuni, pouncing on him violently. The force of Mufasa jumping on him immediately took the wind out of him as he tumbled across the grass. When he eventually stopped, he started trying to get some air back into his lungs, coughing vigorously for a while before he took notice of the fact Mufasa was pinning him down.

"I'm going-*cough*-away." Maluuni managed to eventually say, pointlessly looking around for anybody who would maybe help him out. The others were just Sarabi and Mufasa were just laughing, as normal. nobody seemed to care about him, but he was used to that, unfortunately.

"That's Maluuni, by the way." Sarabi told Adanna, sniggering as she looked over at Maluuni and Mufasa again. "I don't think you'd have met him before; he hates being around others." she continued, clearly not caring if Maluuni could hear her or not. "Weirdo..." she then added, referring to Maluuni, whispering it to the Cheetah cub.

"I see," Adanna took a look at Maluuni, she didn't really think that he was a weirdo. She wanned to help him out, and playing a little tag game would be the right thing to keep everyone away and let Maluuni go where he wants to, "Hey, anyone up for a game of tag?" Adanna said very happily.

Sarafina and Zira gave a nod because they as well were feeling very playful, so did Taka.

Despite the fact that Maluuni could probably put up a good fight against Mufasa and maybe get out from under him with a well-executed kick, he decided not to act at all. It would probably just aggravate the future king even more and if he injured Mufasa, there's was a massive chance of him getting kicked out of this pride. That wasn't an experience he wanted to go through again.

"Hey, anyone up for a game of tag?"

As soon as he heard the happy voice of the Cheetah cub, he turned he tilted his head in her direction. Perhaps this would actually get Mufasa off of him so he wouldn't just be pinned there like something that was completely worthless to everyone. 

"Okay! As long as it gets us away from freak over there." Sarabi replied, gesturing towards Maluuni. She immediately lost interest in him and set her sights on her close friend, Sarafina. She sprinted towards her and pounced, knocking her to the ground. Sarabi quickly recovered and got to her feet before turning to Sarafina. "Tag!"

"Yeah, sure." Mufasa agreed, smiling at Adanna, occasionally glancing over at Sarabi and Sarafina who were already playing. Instead of simply jumping off of Maluuni to join in, he placed both of his paws on one of Maluuni's forelegs, putting all of his weight onto that foreleg. 

Mufasa clearly knew what he was doing although he made it look like he didn't notice. Maluuni grimaced in pain, letting out a small whimper before Mufasa actually stepped off of him entirely. To him, it felt like the bone in his foreleg had just been broken but he tried, in vain, not to show how much pain he was actually in. 

Maluuni rolled over onto his good foreleg and managed to get up off of the ground. He tried placing his injured leg onto the ground but immediately pulled it back due to the agony caused by it. He looked around for a few seconds before hobbling his way past Adanna, Mufasa and the other cubs before lying under the shade of a tree and staring down at the ground. He winced every now and then as a sharp pain shot up his arm.

"Come on Adanna! You playing?" Sarabi shouted playfully to her.

Adanna felt sorry for Maluuni that she wanted to help, but then again she thought that the lion cubs will tease her around or wont even welcome her again. But once hearing Sarabi's shout she shaked her head, "Uh wha? Oh, yes I am," She replied and joined the others.

Sarafina soon caught up with Zira, "Tag!" she shouted and jumped away from Zira.

Zira didn't felt that playful like the others, but she did join them and soon catched Adanna, "Tag!" she said and got away from the little Cheetah cub.

Adanna giggled and started chase the others playfully.

Maluuni glanced up at the others after a while, noticing Adanna still staring at him. He sighed and then looked away slightly. So what of he was different to the others? It didn't mean everyone had to keep staring at him all the time. At least, that was what Maluuni thought she was staring at him for. Sometimes he really did feel like he wanted to kill himself.

As he watched Adanna run off to play with the others in the corner of his eye, he noticed nobody else was actually paying attention to him. Despite the fact that he was injured and shouldn't really be going anywhere, Maluuni had nothing better to do and it would mean he wouldn't be mocked by anyone.

Making sure that everybody was preoccupied with playing Tag, or whatever that stupid game was, Maluuni stood up, being careful not to put any weight onto his injured leg. He began limping as fast as he could in the direction of the much darker area of the Pridelands he had glimpsed a few days ago. He knew it would probably be somewhere that suited him more; surely nobody else would dare to go there.

He would be back at the end of the day. Probably. That was, unless he really liked it there. Maluuni was so curious as to what was in the Elephant Graveyard, or, at least, that was what the others called it, that he didn't even look back to see if anyone was following him. He doubted they would; who wanted to follow him?

Mufasa certainly hadn't noticed him anyway; he was having far too much fun to bother with anything else. 

"Hey! Adanna! Over here!" Mufasa hollered as he swiftly ran past the Cheetah cub, ensuring he was just out of reach of her. He wasn't expecting what happened next, though. From out of nowhere, Sarabi pounced on him and pinned him to the ground. "Now you can't get away from Adanna!" Sarabi grinned down at Mufasa and held him down with all her strength. 

"Hey! Get off me!" Mufasa attempted desperately to throw Sarabi off but, despite his best efforts, he couldn't budge her. "That's not fair!" Mufasa complained, glaring up at Sarabi who didn't care about it at all.

Taka gave a little laugh after seeing his brother being pounced by Sarabi, but before he could say something Zira pounced him to the ground while a little giggle.

Adanna gave a giggle and walked to Mufasa, and then looked down at him, "You can run, but you can't avoid the pounces," she said giving a grin.
