The Long path You’ve chosen

It’s been almost five years, and still you’ve held true
Many walk the same path, but you pave the way through.
Know that as you walk down, this uncharted land,
you’ve made many good friends, some will last till the end.

There have been many hard times, as we all know
The good out number the bad, and it truly does show.
though I've only known you for just one year
The good in you’re heart is plain and clear.

This road has turns and decisions to make,
and with each one i know you will take,
A moment in time or a second for reflection
and I know you will lead us all in the right direction.

So take this with you, wherever you go.
So that we may never forget where this all started
