The cub said to Gakuru, "Hey come here for a moment." Gakuru leaned over and she licked his cheek. He seemed used to it. He smiled and said"Thanks, that's nice of you."

The voice then said to Gakuru, "I knew you liked that female you idiot."

Gakuru rolled his eyes and said to his father, "Cubs show adults affection. You'll see, it'll stop when she starts to grow older."

Te voice said, "I told her to do it."

Gakuru said, "She does that by herself sometimes."

The voice ignored his son though, "I told her that you had a crush on her, I told her male lions were superior, I told her that I'm your father, and I told her you're a wimp."

The cub said, "You're father told me that you're a wimp, but I remember how you save me and my brother when we were cubs." She rubbed against one of his legs. Gakuru looked confused and asked, "You remember that? You were very young." she said, "Well, no, but my mom told me."
