What other Disney movies have touched you the way TLK has?

I can't say that Lilo and Stitch changed me in a big way as a person, but it did influence how I approached my artistic style as an illustrator. It's how I discovered Chris Sanders, which opened up a while new realm of illustrative possibilities.

I am not really a big fan of Disney movies, TLK is the only movie I really adore. But if I had to pick, I'd choose Bambi :)

Brother Bear, Also one of Disney's great masterpieces. For some reason relating to animals is much easier for me than relating to humans.

Brother Bear really touched me. I loved the characters and the story. :)

Princess and the Frog was another film that I really liked. It made me cry and not many films do that (apart from TLK of course). :zirainnocent:
I loved the music the setting and the characters. <3

No other Disney movie has touched me the way Lion King has, However Brother Bear came the closest. Other Disney films I am very fond of are Lady And The Tramp and 101 Dalmatians

Lol lion king just became in a part of my life in some way, I don't think any other movie i've ever seen have affected me like that, I've cried with other movies and stuff I didn't with TLK, but they can't be compared to its greatness..

Well, it depends on what you mean by "touched". I'm a sucker for classic Disney movies, but the only Disney movie that has made me cry is Bambi when Bambi is looking for his mother after she is shot. The Lion King doesn't make me cry either, but I'm "touched" by the relevant life messages in it. The Hunchback of Notre Dame moved me quite a bit when the girl at the end accepted Quasimodo for who is he is.

Now, I am aware that "touched" and "moved" mean the same thing, but I'm touched in a non-emotional way. The fact is, I usually DON'T cry during a movie. I do feel sorry for the characters during a sad moment of a film, but I just don't cry.

While I have loved many other Disney movies that I've seen, no others have had quite the impact that Lion King has had. I used to watch Dumbo over and over when I was very young, then when I was 8 I got The Aristocats on VHS for my birthday, and I loved it and still do. Thomas O'Malley was always my favourite character, but The Lion King took over my life :P It's the only Disney movie I do fan-art of regularly, that I join forums for etc.

Otherwise, if we're talking animation in general, Watership Down. That movie is part of me as well, much like TLK, but it's influence is different somehow.
