Mufalfa said, "Uh right. So after Mufalfa passed on...did you ever like anyone else?"

Marini shook her head. "No. Beside there wasn't anyone here I could grow to like. There's only my brother, Dakari, and Gakuru. But Gakuru's like a brother to me, I never thought of him as anything more than that."

Mufalfa said, "And me?"

Marini said, "You... I didn't know what to think... You remind me of Mufalfa so much and it really confused me."

Mufalfa said, "Well uh..." Suddenly he pretneded to collapse so she would nuzzle him.

Marini was naturally nervous when that happened, "Mufalfa?" she asked, nudging his cheek with her muzzle. It then occurred to him that he might need some air exhaled into his lungs so she did just that.

While she was doing this Mufalfa used his paw to put it behind her head and then kissed her.

Marini out of pure shock was about to pull her muzzle away from Mufalfa's, but instead she closed her eyes and leaned even closer, purring slightly at the contact.

Suddenly Mufalfa noticed her cub was there and immediately pulled away and coughed, "Oh thank you ma'am for reviving me."

Marini looked a little confused and embarrassed, "Uh... You're welcome?" she then noticed her cub in the corner of her eye and understood. "Of course, anyone would have helped." she went over to her cub, "Sweetie didn't you go to play with Gakuru?" her cub nodded but didn't say anything.
