Vitani smiled, "That is very similar to what happened with us." she wondered whether Ahadi and Uru had gone through harder things than she and Kopa did in order to be together, but she didn't ask. That was obviously of no importance nor was it a question that was appropriate to ask, that is if Kopa even knew the answer.

Kopa nodded. "Yes, and Ahadi and Uru became legendary for the love they shared, just like my parents. Uru then became one of the greatest queens ever, but Ahadi was cast from the realm of the great kings and queens for his mistreatment of Scar," he said.

Vitani nodded, "I see." she remembered the talk they had before about why it was dangerous for them to produce an heir any time soon. A rather horrifying possibility of them having more than one cub and having one of them mistreated came to her mind. "I hope we won't end up ever making that mistake..." she placed her head back beneath Kopa's chin and closed her eyes, trying to get that thought out of her head.

Kopa nodded. "That is why we must treat each cub equally if more than one is born. Also, not hitting them like Ahadi did to Scar helps as well," he said.

Vitani's ears flattened against her head, "He hit him?" she never thought it would happen but she was actually feeling sorry for Scar now.

Kopa nodded. "Yes, when he was a cub. It occurred when Scar picked a fight with Mufasa out of jealousy. While scolding him, Scar talked back and Ahadi struck him in rage with his claws extended, creating the scar on his eye," he explained.

Vitani was quiet for a moment, "Oh... I always thought it was a hunting accident... My mother never explained about his scar when I asked her." maybe she hated Ahadi for giving him the scar which is why she refused to tell Vitani about it.

Kopa looked at her. "From what I heard from the lionesses, Scar told the hunting accident story to cover up what had really happened. Zira was only too happy to go along with this. She was one of the few friends Scar had," he said.
