The cub cuddled closer to Gakuru and continued to hide behind him, "I don't have to listen to you!"

The cub again whimpered. Gakuru said to him, "He wont hurt you." The cub raised his head from behind Gakuru and looked at Mufalfa, his ears flattened against his head.

Mufalfa looked at Gakuru, "Excuse me family affair here. None of your concern." Why did he say that? "Come here," he said to the cub.

The cub hesitated but he trusted what Gakuru said. He slowly walked over to where Mufalfa was.

Mufalfa sighed and said, "Come on squirt."

The cub hesitated once more. He looked around at Gakuru who motioned for him to go. Still hesitating, the cub followed Mufalfa.

Mufalfa led him to a cliff, "You see this squirt. You know your father used to own all this land. It'll pass to you soon when you get older you know?"

The cub looked at the view with astonishment, "Really?" his mother has mentioned it to him before, but he never imagined that the land was this big.
