Mufalfa asked, "Uh is something wrong ma'am?"

Marini simply said, "No." it was actually more than just wierd.

Mufalfa nodded, "Well see ya."

Marini looked at him as he walked away but other than that did nothing, even though part of her really wanted to go after him. Once he was gone she let out a longing sigh and her ears flattened against her head. She missed the original Mufalfa, she always did, even though she wasn't letting it show. Now that he was back, in one way or another, she was really confused.

That night in a dream the original Mufalfa talked to her and said, "You do not miss me?"

Marini looked at Mufalfa, her ears flat against her head, "Of course I do... I never stopped missing you..." she remembered all the times she woke up in the middle of the night after having a bad dream about his death, or waking up in some mornings from a happy dream that seemed so realistic just to find out it was just a dream. How could he even ask her such a question?

Mufalfa nodded, "I realize that. But you must realize something. When I passed on my physical form forgot everything and I mean except cubhood events."

Marini was having a hard time understanding anything of what he was saying. "I..." it didn't even seem of any importance to her. She tried to nuzzle him but other than finding out she couldn't touch him nothing happened. "I miss you..." she said, her tone shaky, "I want you back here with me..."

Mufalfa said, "I'll be back." Suddenly she felt a licking sensation but when she woke up the younger Mufalfa was there. 'Whoah what am I doing here?"

Marini looked at the young Mufalfa, holding back a blush, "I... I don't know." it was still dark outside.
