Marini thought about it for quite a long while. "Despite the mean lion he was, under that tough appearance there was someone kind worth getting to know."

Mufalfa said, "Well uh he seemed like a lucky lion. i mean look you're a little old for my taste but I'm sure you were pretty back then." Why did he say that?

Marini cleared a throat, "Just for your information, I look just the way I did when he was alive half a year ago." she wasn't more than 3 years older than him, in fact she wasn't even half of the age lions usually lived.

Mufalfa also coughed, "Uh yeah well you look pretty."

Marini put her head down on her paws like she always did when Mufalfa upset her, but she looked at Mufalfa in the corner of her eye every once in a few seconds. "Just like twins."
