She did that because Kovu is her key to the kingship, not that she loves Kovu more than the others. If she didn't pay attention to Nuka, she wouldn't care when Nuka died.

Kovu is just Kovu. Which is why most people love him! He is hawt and I think that Kiara is so lucky...I have an uber obsession with Kovu. lol He wasn't really brought out to be a bad guy. I like how he tried, and then he was like "screw this". xD His is just too cool. Too cool for everyone else. in the second LK.
