Mufalfa said, "Then you will sneak off with me without telling your mother. Geez momma's boy no wonder your father isn't around." Suddenly he felt that feeling in his stomach again and sighed, "I'm sorry that was uncalled for."

The cub just stared at Mufalfa. Was it his mind playing tricks on him or did Mufalfa just apologize? "So where are we going?" he asked, smiling a cubbish smile.

Mufalfa said, "Get that stupid smirk off your face and I'll tell you."

The cub frowned but did as Mufalfa asked, still feeling a little excited.

Mufalfa smirked as the cub frowned, "Much better." He then lead him to some bushes, the same ones that Dakari and Mzuri had been to a few years earlier. "Perfect place to hide from your mother right?"

The cub looked up at Mufalfa, "Why should I hide from her?"
