Po nodded. "I can't believe that they hurt Dad. I'm definitely going to tell Shen how mad that makes me when I see his face," he said, the anger in his voice obvious.

Mei Ling smiled. "Your father was very energetic and hyperactive. Your mother was somewhat like she is now. As for eating when upset, yes, your father did that back then," she said.

" He still does that." The Twins replied. " So Can you show us what you know." Jong asked. Just then they're stomachs growled. "I guess we should eat first." Long smiled sheepishly.

Mei Ling nodded. "Come on, I'll fix us some rice and then we can talk more. In their youths, your parents had plenty of adventures," she said.

The journey to Gongmen City was on track. Xiu-Fen decided to reassure the group. "My parents and sisters, like me, are staunch allies of the master's council. None of us have any love for Shen. We are a highly respected clan of nobles, and we fear that Shen will eventually try to kill us," she said.

" That sounds great Mei." Long smiled. "Yeah, Mom and Dad said you make the best rice." Jong added.

"Then we must strike first." Tigress said.

Mei Ling got up and headed towards the kitchen. "Then let's go. We can talk at the table," she said, leading the twins to the kitchen.

Xiu-Fen nodded. "Yes, and that is why we asked for the aid of the Dragon Warrior and his allies. The masters felt that if anyone could stand up to the might of Shen and his forces, it would be the Dragon Warrior," she said.

"What are we, Stale rice?" Tigress asked, refering to her and the others besides PO.

"Awesome Mei." The Twins smiled. "Hey Mei, why did you study Kung-Fu?" Long asked. "Yeah, did you always wanted to be a Kung-Fu Master?" Jong added.

Xiu-Fen only smiled. "Sorry, a slip of the tongue. I have nothing but the utmost respect for you and the others," she said. The vixen looked at Tigress. "So, just what is your relationship to the Dragon Warrior?" she asked.

Mei Ling smiled at the twins as she began to boil the water for the rice. "You see, as a kitten, I showed ability in Kung Fu. When I was old enough, my parents sent me to the Lee Da Kung Fu Academy, where I worked hard and eventually became the star pupil. As a young woman, I met Crane and helped him become a Kung Fu practitioner," she said.

" I'm his Wife." Tigress declared. "Shen attack on our wedding day and Hurt Po's Father." She added.

"What was Crane like then?" Jong asked. "Yeah, was he really as un-confident as Mom and dad said?" Long added.

Xiu-Fen looked down sadly. "I'm so sorry to hear that. That's just another reminder of why Shen and his forces must be stopped," she said, remembering what the masters had told her. She then stopped. "It's getting late. We should probably stop and rest for the night," she said.

Po listened to Xiu-Fen. "Good, I need a good, long sleep," he said, stopping and sitting on a large rock in order to catch his breath. He looked at Tigress. "I'm glad that we haven't had a problem on this trip so far," he said.

Mei Ling added the rice to the boiling water in the pot. She nodded in response to the twins' question. "Yes. In fact, he didn't start out as a Kung Fu warrior. He was originally the Academy's janitor. I was so impressed by his swiftness that I encouraged him to try out for the school. He did, and passed the course required to get in. After that, we fell in love and continued to train side-by-side. Once our master had no more to teach us, he sent us here for further training under Shifu and Oogway," she said.
