[Closed] Trials in the Pridelands

Tanabi squeaked once more and nudged foreward to find a source of refreshment, finding it he suckled rather roughly.

Simba smiled at Kiara. "Come, Kiara. Let's return to Pride Rock. You should tell this to your mother. I'm sure she can help you," he said.

Nala smiled and looked to Folle and Chaka, "Congratulations you two.." she whispered giving Chaka a small nuzzle. She stood to her paws and looked at the two, "You're welcome to come home, if you'd like." she added. Giving a small wink to Vitani, Nala made her exit. The Queen took her time as she traveled through the Pride lands, she gazed around her home. She intended to keep it her home, even if it meant ending Zira's life.

The Queen's paws quickly picked up the pace as she saw the sun getting lower in the horizon. She approached Pride rock and leapt up the rock ledges, her form appearing in the front of the den. "It is a boy and his name is Tanabi." she announced loudly, her blue eyes looking to Simba.

Mheetu gave Kamili a tickle with his large paw and he chuckled, "Well, I love your mother with all my heart. Regardless if shes a little older.." he retorted giving Kamili a look. "You all will get to pick your suitors, but they have to get through your dad first!" he teased scooping his daughters up giving them a lick of their own.

Saffy giggled and tried to squeeze out of her father's grasp. Her eyes opened wide as Nala announce the name of the knew cub, "TANABI! I can't wait to see him!" she said with a big grin looking to her father.

Ruby smiled and licked Kopa's cheek, "A new cub. Next will be ours...I'm so excited." she whispered. The lioness snuggled closer to Kopa and rested her head on his shoulder, "Can we go look at the stars?" she asked softly.

Monstro's eye brow raised and his yellow eyes met Zira's brown ones, "I don't know..." he said softly. His mind was in a thousand different places and he gave Zira a small nuzzle. "The time is coming to attack..." he added.

Kopa smiled and started to get up. "Yes, my queen, we can. I wonder if our cub will be a son or a daughter," he said as he walked outside the den with Ruby. "Whatever it is, I'm certain it will be as beautiful as you," he told her.

"Is it? We were thinking that maybe we should wait until there was a special occasion." She gave him a small lick.

Finally, Simba returned with Kiara. No sooner had he done so did Zazu arrive on the scene. "Sire, I have found the perfect suitor for Princess Kiara," he said proudly.

Simba looked down at his majordomo. "Who, Zazu?" he asked, overjoyed that a prince had been found so quickly. Hopefully, everything would go well and Kovu's betrayal would be all but forgotten.

Zazu smiled. "He's waiting at the base of Pride Rock, and he's eager to meet Kiara," the hornbill added. He was happy that the king was eager to introduce his daughter to the handsome prince that had come from the area between the Pridelands and the desert.

Simba looked at Mheetu and his cubs. "I'm taking Kiara to meet her new suitor. You're welcome to come if you wish," he said. He then looked at Kiara. "Be on your best behavior and forget Kovu for now," he said to her.

Nala looked to Simba and her blue eyes searched his brown ones quickly, "A new suitor already? Well...if you think its best." she whispered softly following her King. Nala walked beside Kiara and gave her daughter a nuzzle, "After your done meeting with the Prince, we can have a chat." she added. The Queen stepped out onto the ledge of Pride rock and hopped back down the ledges slowly, the Prince already waiting to meet Kiara.

Mheetu smiled and shook his head, "I'm going to put these little ones to bed, I'll meet him later." he spoke calmly. He saw the sad faces of his daughters and he gave them a few licks pulling them closer. "Now Saffy, Bianca and Kamili its bed time. Maybe tomorrow your mother and I will take you to see Tanabi. But for now...lets sleep." he said reassuringly.

Ruby blushed and gave Kopa an affectionate lick, her amber eyes flickered as she gazed at him. "You are to sweet." she whispered walking beside her mate. Noticing Simba and Nala leave towards the bottom of Pride rock she paused, "Look Kopa..it seems Zazu found a match for Kiara after all."

Monstro nodded, "I have a feeling there will be a special occasion soon....then we will strike. I'll get to squeeze the life out of Simba myself.." he snarled. His large paw swiped at a piece of log and it broke in half, he chuckled turning back to Zira.

Simba led his family down to where the prince was. He was a handsome young lion, with a jet-black mane, tan fur and brown eyes. Simba walked up to him. "Greetings and welcome to the Pridelands," he said.

The prince nodded and looked at Simba and Nala. "Hello there. I am Prince Ali," he said.

"I hope so. We're getting old, Monstro, no doubt. I hope we will live to see Kovu on the throne." She said with a sad smile.

At that moment, Regina stumbled into the den after venturing to the border with the Pridelands to see a group of Wild dogs that provided her with information. "Zira, I have news. I have news from one of my Wild dog contacts. Apparently, Simba has invited a new suitor to Pride Rock to meet his daughter," she said.
