I didn't this year, reason being I am not a shopaholic who buys things only because they are on sale. The deals aren't even that good tbh. It's also crazy out there during Black Friday sales. People have literally been trampled by the crowds and killed. The whole thing is ridiculous.
Lol sorry I know I shouldn't laugh, but really? Can you imagine the post mortem? Cause of Death - shopping.
This is going in my signature LOL

I heard on the news that, somewhere, there was a fight between shoppers over $2 waffle-makers.

there was a big fight in my hometown of Wenatchee. people have missed the whole purpose of the sale day and that it is to buy gifts at good deals for Loved ones to show your love. but you see people fighting over things for themselves mostly, it's sick. my husband has worked retail many times and has seen the selfish unthoughtfulness that fills many people and that stores actually encourage their employees to encourage the frenzy of the shoppers.

anyway, we did go out and do some shopping, but we weren't right there at the opening hour so it wasn't too crazy. and we didn't even get what we had set out to get, a blu-ray player, but it's not like we won't live without it for a little while longer. I did get a few lion king items on sale, a stuffed simba, and a rocking simba for my baby to ride on when she's older.

I saw both of those items. The rocking horse lion looks really cute. They also had a few of those stuffed Simbas on the shelf, they were reasonably priced for their size IMO. I just have to keep telling myself "I'm too old", "I'm too old", "I'm too old". Grrr...I want one! :ocwap:

ah you can never be too old :) I am lucky though that my husband, who has ten years on me, (i'm 24) is supportive of my lion king love. In fact, I have gotten him to appreciate the movie very much. (much like the way he's gotten me to appreciate his war movies lol) and now that we have a daughter, Lion king is something we can share with her, although the rocking lion is the first thing I bought for her to use and not just to add to my collection :D
