Delano looked up at Lina and smiled. "Oh, yeah, I'm fine," he assured her. "Just a little tired, that's all. Think it might be because we went hunting right after running. Sort of caught up to me now." He reached over with his head and nuzzled her. "But with you here, I have everything I need."

Umeme nodded in agreement. "It is. I never knew about it, so I find it so odd how no one in the area knows about it." She nuzzled Muroki back, enjoying the contact. "But it still doesn't beat you."

Lina giggled, enjoying the compliment. "Oh you..." she said, lying down beside him and returning his nuzzle before resting her head in his mane. "Can you tell me more?" she asked playfully, not wanting him to stop talking.

Muroki smiled when Umeme nuzzled him back, and was about to say something when Umeme spoke. "You just..." he was just about to say that about her. "Oh, I need to think of another compliment right now..." he felt his cheeks turning slightly red. "Thanks..." smiling, he nuzzled her again, "I owe you a compliment now, but I'll think of something later."

Delano grinned uncertainly. "Uh, well, you see, I feel like, whenever I'm away from you, I always want to return to your side. And when I do, I feel better right away." He explained. "I don't want to leave your side."

Umeme smiled. "It better be good then, Muroki," she teased, "I don't want to wait for something that is bad." She noticed Muroki turn red, and let out a giggle. "Come on, surely it won't be that hard," she said, "you won't even have to think about it. Just say what you truly feel."

Lina giggled once more. "You're excellent with words..." she sighed, allowing her head to sink deeper into Delano's mane. "I knew I liked you the moment I laid my eyes on you, even if back then you were so confused that you could barely see past your own nose..." she said, using her sister's exact words.

Muroki smiled, his cheeks still slightly red, "Don't worry, nothing can be bad if it's about you." he nuzzled her again while thinking over what she said again. "Alright..." he said, pulling away a little and looked into her eyes but stayed close enough so that his muzzle was still touching hers, "I think you're amazing and I never want to be without you."

Delano felt embarrassed at Lina's remark and looked away. But she was right, when they had first come to Muroki, Delano was so lost that he was sometimes barely able to think. Finally, he got the courage to loot at her again. "Oh, well, I'm different now." He said. "And I believe I can look farther than my nose now," he added, grinning.

Umeme smiled at Muroki. "I like the sound of that," she replied. "See? It's not so hard." She stared at Muroki's eyes, admiring how the light made them glow a little.

Lina giggled again when Delano grinned, nuzzling him as she did. "I liked you either way." she admitted, "But you being able to see beyond your nose is better..." she stopped nuzzling him after a few moments and just allowed her head to sink back into Delano's mane. She didn't feel like ever moving, no matter what Delano would suddenly do or where he would go, as long as he was there with her.

Muroki smiled, staring back into Umeme's eyes. "I can go on." even though Umeme didn't really ask him to. He also didn't wait too long to allow her to reply. "When our parents died I thought my life was over, but then I met you and you turned the lights back on."

Delano closed his eyes, not because he felt like he needed the sleep, but because he enjoyed how Lina rested her head against him. The warmth between them calmed him down even further, and felt so peaceful and happy, glad that he had the opportunity to talk to her, and spend time with her.

Umeme smiled. "I'm glad that I was able to do that," she said, "because to be honest, when you first arrived, you really did look like a mess. But then you got better, and I was able to see a spark of life. And then you vanished. She smiled even more. "So when you were gone, I started to miss you. I barely even knew you, and yet I wanted you to come back. And then you did. Better than ever before."

Lina said nothing else and closed her eyes as well, purring at the warmth from Delano's fur and mane. She felt so happy and secure that she even forgot about Umeme and Muroki being there.

Muroki couldn't help but smile, "Well, we did get a lot of time to think over things out there..." maybe the way they hated the training program also helped them come to the realization they came to. "I'm very happy we came back." he nuzzled her and hugged her close, "One will have to break all of my four legs in order to force me to ever leave you again."

Delano smiled, letting Lina rest on him. As his mind wandered, he looked over and saw that Muroki and Umeme were also enjoying each other's company. It was slightly surprising to him at how similar he and Lina were as Umeme and Muroki were. But he didn't mind it one bit.

Umeme laughed at Muroki's remark. "Well, I'm glad that all your legs are whole then," she teased, "so that you can always run back to me should someone think so otherwise."

Muroki smiled, holding Umeme even closer, "Run back to you? I'd like to see anyone forcing me away from you first." he found mentioning the whole part of four broken legs again. He just wanted to be there with her until the end of time. Not that he didn't enjoy holding her in his arms, but they were growing a bit tired as the minutes went by. "Mind if we laid down?" he asked, looking at her with a smile.
