Did You Think Scar's Death Was Sad?

To answer to the topic question, no, Scar's death was not sad (except if you're a Scar fan or really sympathetic with him), but I know what you mean. Dieing while begging for mercy is sad, but Scar should have known that all of his lying was going to catch up with him.

Yeah, Scar had a pretty sad life, but I'm sure Scar knew what he was doing when he killed Mufasa. But, anyone, whether fictional or not, can have a sad life, but do something good to better their lot not for themselves, but for others.

I'm sorta mixed on this. I mean, I didn't feel bad for Scar when his own minions killed him. He did really deserve it after all of the bad things he has done. However, after reading about Scar's terrible past, I do kinda feel sorry for him. But again, he deserved it.

Well, after so many fancomics showing little Taka befriending with the hyena kids, it's sad. I think he really thought for a while hyenas deserved better circumstances but then power made him mad and too full of himself.

No, I don't think his death was sad. Yes, it was kind of sad that he had to die that way, getting eaten alive by hyenas, but overall, no, not sad.

He was overall a miss lead Lion with a lethal amount of power. When power is given at such a level and yet isn't divided responsibly it ends up as a horrifying end result.

You ever heard of Carma? Well the fact that he purposefully allowed such horrible things to happen which resulted in all of the members of the Pridelands "from the ant to the leaping antelope" (Mufasa) either flee or die out.

Causing all of the lionesses and other fellow carnivores starve would result in his inevitable death. Unfortunately her had to be killed in quite a nasty to say the least. Those are my thoughts anyway. Long story short its is a shame yes, but did he deserve it? Yes.

I wasn't sad when Scar died, I think he's one of the best Disney villians but he'd done far too many evil things to even begin to feel sorry for him. Not only did he kill his brother, but he let little cub Simba believe it was his fault, then tried to get Simba killed, took over the pridelands and let the other lions starve, even refusing to leave priderock for somewhere better. Hit Simbas mother and tried to get Simba to confess to a murder he didn't commit and when Simba slipped on the rocks and landed the same way as Mufasa, Scar not only reminded him of that but was also going to let Simba die after proudly whispering in his ear that he'd killed Mufasa and after all that he had the cheek to blame the hyena's who had been loyal to him throughout all his crimes. So it wasn't sad for me.

Also I don't think I'd find his death scene that sad even if I did like him because although it was a horrible death being eaten alive, it didn't have the sad music or anything that Mufasas death had. I find that when Mufasa dies I start to cry more when the sad music comes on! lol
