Ok, I have a new idea that might make this interesting:

How about Simba and Nala start searching for a new mate for Kiara, Kovu hears of it somehow and uses that as an opportunity to take revenge? I have an idea for a character that comes in for Kiara.

All right, I'm going to go with my idea to bring in a new potential suitor for Kiara, just because it would make Kovu even angrier and make the story more interesting.

Nah. How about Simba just declares the marriage over and then asks Zazu to seek out a new prince? I have an idea for one.
