Just to let everyone know, the SOPA bill wasn't passed. Everyone shouldn't worry about it no more. :)
Leaving. Might be back if the bill doesn't get passed.

It did not? I am shocked lol /s
Of course it was not, it was doomed from the moment the public caught whiff of it. Understand that the law only would have censored the sites, they still would be the same if you typed in the IP rather than URL, and for that reason it failed before it even began.

I knew it wouldn't get passed. Bills like this never did.

Also, I love it that the MLK banner still has the censorship over the name even though the bill never got passed. XD

^ SOPA is still alive. Its the senate version (protect IP) that has stalled and died. But the SOPA bill is still in action and is still very much alive. This is why MLK still has the stop censorship banner over the logo: the battle has yet to be won.

I have been saying this ever since this whole situation came to light, it will not pass. I cant believe how much of a fuss was made about something that was bound to fail anyway. "Oh hai guise lets go censor the internet that will surely solver our budget crisis situation!"

Now SOPA is being advertised as a bill that will help create American jobs.
1. No it won't. It will kill them.
2. Congress loves job bills.

We still need to be worried.
