[Closed] Trials in the Pridelands

Meanwhile, Simba continued following Chaka's scent. It continued getting closer. Simba then paused and let out a loud roar that would certainly let Chaka know that he was in the area.

Zira beckoned to her daughter. "Ready to see your brother?"
"Yes! I can't wait! Let's go!"
And so they crossed into the Pridelands.

Simba continued trying to call Chaka, with no success. Finally, he returned to the Pridelands, unaware of who he was about to meet. He continued walking until, finally, Pride Rock was in sight.

Vitani smiled at everyone who asked about Simba, "Oh well, he went to go find Chaka." Looking up at the sky, as the rays beamed down onto Nala; making her fur glow. Turning to Mheetu, she licked his cheek. "Well Nala. Care to go out and hunt with the other lionesses? Get a huuuge lunch for the pride." Gazing past her relatives to the other lions and lionesses with their young ones. "Ahh, there Simba is now!" Beaming up, looking at her brother trudging for the Pridelands. With a deep breath, she walked towards him.

Kamili followed Nala and played with her swishing tail then running to Saffy, "I think they'll look like both Ruby and Kopa, though you'll never know." Giggling then looking up at Nala and her mother. "Can I help hunt?" Looking up with her Aqua eyes, bouncing slightly and her pale tan tuft did as well. Kamili followed her mother and bounced to see her Uncle. "Are we going for a walk, to see Uncaa Simba?" Questioning her family that seemed to migrate with them.

Kiara sighed and followed her mother, "Coming Kovu?" Chuckling as she gnawed his ear, then walking with her mother. "May we come?" Tilting her head to the side with a smile.

Simba saw Vitani in the distance and broke into a run. Before long, the siblings were reunited. "Well, 'Tani, no sign of Chaka. I followed his scent and called for him, but he did not respond. I hope I didn't hurt him too much by exiling him," he said.

Vitani sighed, "He's probably still mad. How about after this big family walk, we go see him. I heard from animals that there is a small family living in the Diamond Dens. Maybe it's him?" Smiling at Simba, licking his cheek. "Maybe his cub is already born, then you'll get to see your Grandchild." Walking past Simba, still talking. "Now let's walk. A Royal Family walk is something we haven't had since we were cubs like Kamili, Saffy and Bianca." Remembering the last walk Sarabi had before she passed mysteriously.

Simba smiled, remembering when they were cubs as they went to go and get Nala and the others. "Remember when we were cubs and some walks took longer than planned because we were trying to pounce each other?" he said with a chuckle.

Nala gave Simba's muzzle a small lick before joining his side, she smiled. "Those walks use to be the highlight of our day.." she added crystal blue eyes lingering at Simba. Nala walked beside Simba as they lead the royal family into the Pride lands, her smile wide and proud. As they passed the herds of animals they bowed their heads in respect and Nala returned a nod. She felt Kamili chase after her tail and she chuckled swishing it around behind her playfully. She walked silently beside Simba enjoying the quiet but then she spoke, "Chaka, I do miss him.." she whispered.

Mheetu watched his daughters run around the group and play, "Stay close Kamili, Saffy and Bianca. Don't go to far ahead..." he spoke calmly watching them stretch ahead. His green eyes focused on them closely before he noticed Vitani join his side, his muzzle nuzzled her soft neck fur. "I love you..." he murmured in her ear softly as they walked.

Saffy's grinned widely at the mention of a family walk and she looked to Ruby, "Come on Ruby don't miss the walk! You and Kopa can spend time later." she protested sticking her tongue out at Kopa. She quickly ran to catch up with Kamili and Nala and she looked up to her father as he spoke. "I won't go to far..." she muttered with a small grin. The little lion cub quickly picked up the pace and ran circles around Simba and Nala. She watched all the animals and she awed at all the different shapes and sizes they came in.

Ruby chuckled at Saffy's comment and she looked to Kopa, "Come on dear...I promise when we finish the walk we can spend more time." she teased giving his muzzle a lick. She quickly turned around and ran after Saffy catching up with Simba and Nala, Ruby's amber eyes looked to Simba. "I didn't want to miss a family outing." she said smiling.

Monstro was doing his rounds of the territory when he spotted Zira and Shetani making their way into the Pride lands. He let out a low snort and quickly caught up to his family. "I hoped you wouldn't leave until I got back. I don't want you going out there alone.." he growled lowly his yellow eyes looking to Zira. He leaned his muzzle down and gave Shetani a small nuzzle and he walked slowly with them as they strolled. "Soon Zira...this will all be yours." he said smirking.

Simba sighed. "Come. This is a happy moment. We can think of the other things later on," he said, continuing to walk.

Kopa followed his family and new mate as they moved. Suddenly, however, he picked up three strange scents, scents that didn't belong in the Pridelands. "What am I smelling? It smells suspicious," he said.

Vitani lifted her nose to the scent. "Kamili, Bianca, Saffy. Get behind mummy. Now." Saying with such a tone of anger and discomfort. Pulling Saffy, Kamili and Bianca behind her, with shaky paws. "Someone is out there, I can't recognize the smell. Yet, I remember it from when I was just a few hours old." Hissing slightly on her last words.

Kamili felt her mother's shaky paws. "What's going on?" Asking with fear while holding tightly onto her father's front paws. "Daddy, I'm scared." Digging her nose into his fur and cowering in fear.

Kiara growled and stepped beside her brother. "I can't wait to protect the land by your side, big brother." Whispering to him while glaring towards the scents.
