The Hunchback of Notre Dame

Yeah, this was confirmed earlier this year (March I believe) and as far as I know they're still working on it, I haven't found any updates that say otherwise. They've apparently been considering it for several years, so I really hope it's happening this time around! Would be totally epic!

I'm in love with The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and it makes me that this movie is soo underappreciated. The songs are amazing, the characters are well-developed and have an interesting personality, the animation is dazzingly beautiful, and Frollo is one of the best Disney villains. This movie would be right up there with TLK if it weren't for the sexual overtones.

Man, I really wish Disney would re-release this movie on Blu-Ray.

A blu-ray release would make my life complete lol ^ The DVD really doesn't do it justice. Imagine watching Hellfire in Blu-ray quality with like..surround sound or something o_O Holy crap...now that would sweep me off my feet!

i freaking love this movie! it has to be my favorite animated Disney movie! it's so dark and a movie both children and adult can enjoy. my favorite character was Pheobus when i was a kid. sometime later i fell for Clopin.

favorite scene? tough one. probably that tender moment between Pheobus and Esmerelda as she nurses him back to health

I love this film, just watched it again earlier today actually! It's so different to any other Disney movie, so dark and so much more mature than others. It all went right over my head when I was younger though! It's a shame it wasn't more successful, maybe because it's more an 'adult' than most Disney films. I do love it though, Djali is my favourite!

I never got to see it as a kid. I finally saw it recently on youtube, and I really enjoyed it. I thought it was a good movie.

This is one of my favorites, although I didn't really take an interest in it until after I got into Phantom.
(I wonder how many other interests I can blame Phantom for getting into.)

Frollo is a really creepy villain. I would not want to be in the same room with him while he's singing "Hellfire."

Today I saw HoND for the first time in like 5 years

And I have to say that it's an amazing movie!
With wonderful animation and the music is great! ^^
Unfortunally it's soo underrated
But I love this movie! ❤

Haha, yes Amy, I could easily xD I agree with everything you've said about it too. I'm extremely glad that more people seem to be discovering/rediscovering it now. Apparently a Blu-ray release HAS been confirmed too (no date set yet though) and that makes me incredibly excited. Here's hoping that this movie will soon get the recognition it's deserved all along <3
