I've seen it. Wasn't swept of my feet with this one, I was disappointed. I LOVE dragons, but I hated the weird style they used for the dragon characters. They look ridiculous to me. The graphics were *too* realistic, in my opinion. How can I put this... graphics like that need to have creative landscapes to go along with them, and if you're going to use graphics as realistic as that it's better to use a more unrealistic style. I think. May not have conveyed my point correctly XB

And it suffered from a serious case of predictable plot syndrome. It was alright, I hope the upcoming sequel will be better.

Next to Shrek 2, HtTYD is one of my favorite Dreamworks films. It had great heart and characters. Not to mention the animation was awesome. Felt like the closest thing to a Pixar film that Dreamworks has done.

I want to see it again now. LOL Great movie.

And Toothless was adorable.

I guess it was okay. It was different than I expected. The dad of the main character really annoyed me.

I watched this movie for the first time today and I really liked it. Toothless is just way too adorable. <3

And the animation really astounded me. :)
Leaving. Might be back if the bill doesn't get passed.

I agree with you that when I first saw this movie, the movie was very predictable and cliche, but it makes up for the sweeping visuals when Hiccup and Toothless were flying together, and for its the heart and depth. I am look forward to the sequel, though.

I love this movie!! :D
I only saw it for the first time a few days ago, but I loved it... and I thought I was going to dislike it lol
I though the friendship between Hiccup and Toothless was very touching, and I was surprised with the ending. Did not expect Hiccup to lose his leg. :O

Toothless is too adorable for words, by the way! :)
