Trying to Change (Private ~ TheWhistlerify and Amber)

Comador's face split into a wide grin,
"I over heard all of the convoseration...you're seriously not considering leaving are you Dakoda?". He continued circling the lion,
"Imagine what King Thorn and Queen Dafina would say....or do".

He stopped and leaned forward, so there noses nearly touched,
"Unless you want me to tell them about your little meetings, you will agree to the following things said...ok?".

Dakoda frowned, "I did not consider leaving, I'm more than aware of my commitments and responsibilities regarding this pride." he never liked Comador, even before the training they've both been through turned Comador into an even more annoying lion.

Comador chuckled,
"So you won't mind me telling your parents then? I didn't think so...". He backed down for a moment and sat up straight,
"Later on, King Thorn has informed me that you have to choose a male member from the Pride to be your second in command, and to take over if anything...unfortunate happens...so I'm guessing you take the hint". The lion grinned again,

"Oh and we have a mock fight later, me and you, and all the females are going to be there...and I really want to win...".

Dakoda held back a growl as he did whenever he spoke to Comador. "You can win for all I care. If you had some self control you wouldn't end up going at every female you see." it was something a king was not allowed to do, and so wasn't the one second in command, but Dakoda wasn't going to bother reminding him that. In fact, Dakoda was actually proud of how he had managed to control himself around females so far, and if the females all went over to Comador instead it would be even easier. Perhaps having Comador win was even a better thing than Dakoda imagined.

"Ahh but you see...you're father's going to be there too, and we all know that he's got a rather.....short-temper....".
"Just thought I'd let you know", Dakoda replied with a slight smirk, knowing that the King has hit and beaten his son many times for not doing as well as he should in training.
"See you there then", he added, walking off, looking pleased with himself.

Dakoda rolled his eyes as Comador walked away. "Arrogant fool..." he muttered under his breath, not loud enough for Comador to hear. He of course was still planning on meeting Amy tomorrow, he was very eager to hear more about what it was like out there. After a while, Dakoda finished with the rest of his patrol and headed back towards the pride's den.

(( We can skip to this 'mocking fight' if you really want to play it out or just to the next day when Dakoda meets Amy again. ))

The pride began to gather in a circle up on one of the open spaces in their territory, King Thorn also made his appearance with his Queen, Dafina, at the head of the circle. Comador was already there, he flexed his muscular body for the young females who all giggled in unison, he then walked into the center and waited for Dakoda.

OOC: which one of them do you think should win? I think Dakoda winning can "donate" to the whole part of Comador being jealous of him.

Dakoda eventually saw the circle of lions ahead, also noticing his mother and father at the head of it. "Ugh..." he groaned to himself and rolled his eyes, before approaching the circle and walking inside. Comador of course was busy impressing the females, like always, but it wasn't really necessary. They were already stupid enough to actually let someone like Comador get close to them. Too bad that one of those would end up as his mate one day, for they had nothing but the urge to just go with any male who they found good looking, not even the slightest hint of just a small amount of intelligence.
