Vitani listened in sad silence. The place was desolate, and Vitani stared at it with cold eyes. At Baya's lick, she turned to look into his green eyes. She blinked once as he spoke again, then gave him a tiny smile. "I can't imagine you cowering." She purred softly, speaking the truth. Baya was always so brave and seemingly untouched by most things, it was hard to picture him crouching in terror. But even he must feel the cold touch of fear at some point.
Vitani brushed her muzzle against Baya's cheek. She was so glad to have him with her, nothing could express it. Even the chill that hung over this place couldn't diminish her affection.
