League of Legends (aka LoL)

How best to describe this game... fantasy combat basically. There are several different champion to pick from, you choose, either playing with bots or PvP 5v5 and destroy the enemy base to win. Sounds simple, good for passing 10 min? WRONG

It is alot more complicated than that. I got into it as it is a FREE GAME thats right FREE. When you start playing you get given the option of tutorial (do it seriously you need it) and from there you are left you your own devices. Now here is where it gets to begins a bit interesting. You start with no champions of your own instead when you start a game of your own there are around 9 champions randomly selected and changed each week, so you can try out different skill and combat types to find one you like. Everytime you play a match win or lose you get IP points, store up enough of these and tada you can buy your own champ with them

Now you must be thinking, wheres the fun if you meet another champ who is the same as you (opposite teams can have the same person) wont it be stale mate? heck no cause there is a shop in game to buy items and build your characters differently, you get money for other champ kills, ending sprees, double kills, monsters kills etc to but these lovely things and play as you like. Sure the game recommends items for you which is great to find your feet but take a risk try a different item that has similar effects who knows it might dominate everything

I will mention this now there is another way to get champs and yes it is by paying to get Riot Points (RP) so each champ has a cost for RP and IP you only need to pay one. Also the RP can be used to buy character skins,to make the game look a bit more saucey but hey the standard skins are not that bad. Ive been playing for a month now and ive never had the same match twice, so many champs with so many different play styles and so many people with personal preferences that you cant get the same match twice, ever, unless you set it up but thats besides the point, I cant remember that last free game I played where I had fun and didnt rage
