I'm having Vitani get Simba to see Chaka and on the way, they see Zira. then after they are done with Zira, they arrive when Folle is giving birth. Chaka get's territorial and only allows his mother in, she helps Tanabi be born then Anakin realizes his love for Nala. (Read fan fiction about Anakin and you'll understand).

Yes. He'll see Nala running gracefully and fall for her. You gotta read the fan fiction to understand. And his brain will snap and instantly want to kill Simba and everyone who stands in his way to get Nala. Forcing them to call him Vaydir, proving to Nala he has control.
