Simba kept Kivuli elevated long enough until his precious mate came over to his aid. A bigger smile formed around the king's ebony muzzle lips as he listened closely to what she was saying. Hearing upon that she was ready to move on, both Simba and Nala carefully dragged Kivuli across a small plain until they reached Pride Rock. Unlike Kovu, Kivuli's massive physique was much more colossal like and fairly heavy. It nearly took twice the time to bring Kivuli home on top of Pride Rock as Simba gently lowered Kivuli's half on the smooth rocky surface. Panting softly, he glanced over to hear his mate mention they should keep both lions apart from one another.
"That's a good idea Nala, I don't like to take a chance with both of them being in the same area." Simba said softly, rushing over to Kivuli's side now as he took a seat beside the inanimate lion to observe each and every wound Kivuli received. To his horror, most of them look pretty painful and will require a long while to heal. Simba felt remorseful about Kivuli's sustained wounds and wished for the best as he decided to keep quiet until Kivuli stirred from his painful slumber. Hopefully when both of the lions awake, there wouldn't be bad blood between the two and possible questions answered, especially of Kovu's incongruous behavior.
Allowing Kivuli some space, Simba proceeded to pad over where Nala was watching over Kovu. He didn't get a good examination of the wounds that the prince endured and hoped the conditions for him were a lot better than Kivuli's. After a few paces, Simba reached where both of them were situated and briefly looked over to his mate until he took a seat beside her. Affectionately giving her a warm nuzzle, Simba glanced down at Kovu and frowned.
"Nala, how's Kovu's condition? I recently checked Kivuli and he looks pretty bad. I think it's going to take a few suns for his wounds to properly heal, I think we will have to have him stationed around Pride Rock. I wouldn't like for him to do dangerous tasks that may cause strain on his body." Simba's contrite voice finished as he continued to sit there quietly, observing Kovu's condition.
Sirom observed Sykara's movements and allowed space between the two as he kept a warm smile pasted on his ebony muzzle lips. He soon looked over to Manyota, taking in on what she was inquiring about their situation. Knowing that she was with her newborn cub who was named, Akin, Sirom couldn't help but allow Manyota and her cub to tag along with them.
"Manyota, we're going to have you tag along with us. You just have to be careful with your newborn cub. Before we get into the details, I'd like you to head over to that hill over there where Huyani is stationed. We have her scouting out the Pridelands to see how many Pridelanders are lingering around. Would you be kind enough to see if she has her report ready for us?" Sirom finished politely, seating himself much straighter now before continuing.
"Before you go, keep your cub here, I'll keep a close eye on your newborn and ensure it'll be safe. Once we have the numbers rounded, Sykara and I are going to lead everyone into the Pride Lands. From there, we have to look for a decent sized shelter for all of us to cram inside and hopefully hunt for some edible material." Sirom said calmly, still having a warm smile pasted on his furry brown face.
He didn't want nothing to go wrong and if they have to wait any longer, they might have to head out into the Pride Lands before it got too dark. Still having positive thoughts, Sirom had a lot of faith in everyone and knew things will go smoothly. He couldn't wait to get settled in the Pride Lands with its ample of food and water. Even though this was a daring task, he'll ensure things will go smoothly as he waited patiently for Huyani's return. Sirom wasn't sure if she was alright or not and he was beginning to worry about her well being up in that hillside alone. With Manyota about to venture where she was, a sense of security was building up inside of him and wished to see both of them padding back where he and Sykara was situated.
