Aleena stopped him. "He's fine, Knuckles. He was already rescued. He's in the bed over there," she said.

Just then, Sonic began to groan and wake up. "What's happening?" he said, his words barely coherent.

Lupe reached out to steady Knuckles. "Listen to me. You need to rest. The royal army is doing its best to retrieve Shadow," the she-wolf said.

" They don't stand a chance." He said. "They're dead men walking, they're be slaughtered." He said as he fell on his knees.

Aleena stepped forward. "Knuckles, are you all right?!" she shouted.

Just then Silver and Mecha-Shadow crashed through the Palace, fighting intensely as their battle tore up the palace.

Hope opened her glowing eyes as she was ready

Shadow was fighting a losing battle against the mecha-Shadow program.

"Shadow, you have to stop this." She said.

"I'm trying Hope, but it's just too hard." He said as he was kicked to the ground.

" Then let me help." Hope said as she started.

*Real world*

Silver was laying on the ground as Mecha-Shadow eyed Aleena. "Target: Aleena, Status: Queen of the Hedgehog Empire, Orders: Terminate." He said as he rushed the hedgehog, grabbing her in a chock hold.

*Mecha-Shadow's CPU*

"NOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!" Shadow said as he lunged at Mecha-shadow, destroying the program.

*Real World*

Mecha-Shadows eyes reverted from red eyes to his normal green eyes. The shocked Robian child released his mother and embraced her in a hug. "I'm so sorry mom, I'm so Sorry." He cried.

Aleena held Shadow close. "It's all right, Shadow. You weren't yourself. I'm not angry with you," she said.
