Sirius shrugged, "I've known Belle since she was a cub, she's being shy." after a few moments of silence he said, "I normally go to sleep later than this time of the evening. But if you're tired, I can show you to the den."

Amber shook her head,
"I'm ok actually, anyway, I like to look at the stars. Sometimes...sometimes I think my....my mum's up there ya know? I'd like to think that".

Sirius noticed the slight hint in Amber's tone, and from what she said he realized that her mother was probably dead or no where to be found. "Whatever happened, I'm sorry." he sighed, before suggesting, "Do you want me to come with you?"

Amber flashed her eyes at Sirius in an almost needy way,
"I've been wanting to tell the story of how I ended up here since I was....well exiled from my Pride", she paused before continuing,
"My mother...she vanished one day after an arguement with my father. He accused her of cheating. I don't know where she is, but I hope's she's ok...".
"Anyway, my father found another mate, a rather horrible lioness by the name of Clara", Amber spat out her step mother's name.

"She wouldn't stop saying my mother was a cheating cow and she wished I had vanished too...one day I snapped and attacked her, I did no damage, but...my father saw otherwise and told me to never come back to his lands again".

Sirius' ears flattened against his head, "That's so unfair... I hope your mother's alright... Who knows, maybe you'll even find her one day."

Amber rolled onto her back, gazing up at the sky,
"Maybe...". She sighed and closed her eyes for a moment, a single tear rolled out, how she missed her mother, and to be disowned by her father too. It was too much emotion for the young lioness to handle.

Sirius also went ahead and lay on his back next to Amber, looking up at the sky as well. "I've never done this before to be honest with you." he said with a chuckle, looking at her and noticing the tear coming out of her eye. "Hey, everything's alright now." he instinctively placed one of his paws on her shoulder in an attempt of reassurance.

The warmth of simply the fact of Sirius putter his paw on her shoulder was enough to make Amber smile, she opened her eyes again. Tears were still there but she looked up at the sky,
"Me, mum and Dad did this once...together...together like we should of been". The cream furred lioness edged closer to Sirius, slowly placing her head on his chest, nuzzling into his thick black mane.

Sirius again said, "I'm sorry." his mouth went shut when Amber suddenly edged closer to him and rested her head on his chest, nuzzling his mane as she did. He knew her for barely half a day and he already felt as if he had known her his entire life. After a few seconds, he nuzzled her back with a smile.

Amber thought she was being silly, thinking this was love. She had only met Sirius, and now look what she was doing. However, she didn't care. The young lioness had found someone whom she felt could confide in an be with.
