Sirius nodded at the king, "Thank you, it's most appreciated." he was very happy that Amber would be staying with them. Belle was a very good friend of his, but he would never say no to having a new friend.

Ligo turned and walked away, greeting another of his members, helping a couple of them too.
"He seems like a good King", Amber observed. Belle smiled,
"Yes, he's got us through bad times and drought". Amber turned back to Sirius,
"Mmm, I'm starved, though...I kind of feel rude. I'm new and I'm already living of this pride's resources...".

Sirius smiled, "It's fine, there are always some left overs anyways, so you won't make any negative difference." he went ahead and added, "If it still bugs you you can join the group on their hunts from time to time, they'll be happy to have some more help."

Amber smiled gratefully, his kind words had really cheered her up, and there was something about him that made her even happier to be with him.
"Thanks Sirius, and I'll ask to join the hunting party soon". Belle jabbed Sirius in the side out of no where and hid behind him.

Amber stared at Belle before noticing, a rather good looking (but not as good looking as Sirius obviously) lion walked by, chatting to his friend.
"H-His name is Kodo...I really...really"...
"Love him!", she whispered. Amber giggled, not loud enough for Kodo to hear.

Sirius was slightly confused as Belle hid behind him all of a sudden, only for that confusion to go away as he noticed Kodo was walking in their direction. Even though Belle was usually nervous to talk about her feelings for Kodo, Sirius was her friend after all and could tell by himself that Belle did have some sort of feelings for him. "He doesn't bite you know." he whispered back, not wanting to cause any embarrassment to Belle by having Kodo hear them talk about him. "You can talk to him."

Belle shuffled nervously,
"But what if he doesn't like me!". She gazed at Kodo, who had stopped, he approached Amber,
"Hello, I haven't seen you before...I'm Kodo". Amber smiled,
"I'm Amber, I've just joined the pride". Kodo smiled back and then looked at Sirius, and Belle who was behind him,
"Belle...what are you doing?". The brown furred lioness jumped from behind Sirius's back and slowly shuffled away,
"Ummm nothing......". She then ran for the nearest bush. Kodo did his best not to go after her and tell her that he liked her, instead he walked off. She obviously didn't like him if she was running away.

Even though Kodo didn't go after Belle, it was possible for a moment back there to notice that he wanted to. With a sigh, Sirius looked at the bush Belle took cover behind, "You can come out now, he's gone." obviously things wouldn't go anywhere between those two until Belle managed to get over her nervousness and talk to Kodo.

Belle came out and sighed,
"Phew...but he talked to me...and I screwed it up again!". Amber rolled her eyes,
"Belle, you gotta talk to the guy!". Belle shook her head,
"B-But I can't! He'll think I'm stupid....". Amber put her paw round her,
"Well, what you just did was stupid...maybe you and him could get alone?". Belle just turned away and walked off. Amber looked to the floor, "Was it something I said? I say things alot".

Sirius shrugged, "Could be. I don't think so though. She's been growing to like him a lot more recently, I guess it's starting to frustrate her a little."
