Plot ~

Amber, was exiled from her Pride for fighting with her stepmother. Her stepmother had been making cruel and mean comments about her real mother. So, exiled by her own father, she became a rouge lioness.

Soon, she came across a desert and on the edge of it, was a large oasis where a reasonably sized Pride lived. She asked to join and was accepted. Amber became friends with a kind lioness called Belle and met a male older than her called Sirius. He was rather cheeky and rowdy towards her and he liked to flirt alot at first but they soon developed a friendship. Amber opened up to him and told him about her horrible stepmother and how her father had now disowned her.

However, Sirius fell in love and when he tried to get his feelings across, it came out all wrong and it caused a huge argument. He ended up making the same mean comments about her real mother and Amber got extremely upset. She went to Belle and found comfort in her for a while.

A week later, neither Sirius or Amber had spoken to each other. Sirius wanted to say sorry, but he couldn't pluck up the courage too. The future leader of the Pride, Tritan, started to flirt with her and he forced her into a relationship. Sirius was jealous but decided to hide it, and thought himself horrible to be jealous.

When Tritan didn't get his own way with Amber, he would hit her or bite her. Amber soon became a bit withdrawn and when Sirius found out, he threatened Tritan and told the Leader. Tritan got mad and tried to attack Sirius, but alas, Amber took the downfall by jumping in front of him.....and survived. Tritan was exiled and Sirius was chosen to become Leader next. Amber told him that she had always been in love and end of story =)

"Exile!"

The young lioness's eyes snapped wide open, her father's voice still echoed in her mind. Amber looked to the sky, it was hardly morning but she decided that she might as well be on her way. The rather pretty cream lioness stood up and began to walk. She had no idea where she would end up, but after being exiled from her former pride by her own father, she didn't care.

A while later, the sun was visible on the horizon and Amber squinted her eyes, up ahead she saw large sand dunes. She shrugged and padded towards them. The light wind ruffled her fur. Her ears twisted at a sound, a sound of fast flowing water. Amber had not had a drink since yesterday and sniffed the air. Not only did she soon find a large oasis, she smelt a pride of lions.

Amber guessed that this was another pride's territory, but maybe just going in for a drink wouldn't be too bad? Then a thought struck her head, maybe she could ask to join?

A lion named Sirius who was a little older than Amber was by the very waterhole she was heading to, taking a nap under one of the trees. Normally there wasn't anything interesting to do, and he usually ended up spending his time either talking to Belle or on his own. As for Tritan, Sirius never enjoyed his company, and it was going to become even more unbearable once Tritan took his place as the new pride leader. But Sirius knew that if he just ignored Tritan and kept to himself he wouldn't have to interact with him a lot, so he didn't think about it too much.

Amber smiled and sighed in relief when she saw the large waterhole, she looked up to see an even larger waterfall. She approached the water and started to lap at it, failing to notice a brown furred, older male lion under a tree. She closed her eyes for a moment and felt the blissful cool liquid on her dry tongue.

Sirius continued to lie under the tree until Amber's footsteps got his attention. At first he thought it was either Belle or another pride member who didn't want to disturb him, but then he noticed that it was a rogue lioness he had never seen before, and a rather pretty one too. She must have not noticed he was there, because he was more than certain that she was not a part of their pride. He got up and walked over to the lioness, clearing his throat before speaking. "Why hello there beautiful." he said with a cocky and flirtatious grin.

Amber jumped in shock and opened her eyes, she nearly fell face first into the water. She backed up at looked at the bigger lion in front of her, she studied him for a moment before flicking her tail. She hadn't seen another lion for a while and didn't really know what to do or say.
"I...umm...ermmm...", she mumbled, "Hello...".

Sirius continued to smile at the pretty lioness in front of him. "I could not help but notice that you're not from our pride." He chuckled, "I don't remember every member in particular but I'm fairly certain I wouldn't forget someone as good looking as you." one could say that flirting with lionesses was like a joy for Sirius, but that was just a part of who he was. "So where are you from?"

Amber relaxed, this lion didn't seem like a threat. She smiled at him, especially when he said she was good looking. Male lions have said that before, but she didn't care much for them. Then he smile faded when he asked where she came from,
"Who cares? I can't go back".

Sirius was quite overjoyed at that, not because he wanted Amber to be kicked out of her former pride but because for once there was a lioness who wasn't immediately repelled by his flirting. Sure, Belle was a good friend, but she always felt a little uncomfortable whenever he flirted with a lioness. And since Amber wasn't part of any pride, maybe she could finally be the friend he needed who he could be more like himself next to. "It'll be my pleasure if you stay, it's not safe living as a rogue." he said, smiling his flirtatious yet handsome smile. He doubted that the pride's leader would have a problem with a new member, after all their leader wasn't someone who would leave another lion or lioness to starve, and Amber didn't look like she had any bad intentions.

Amber listened to the male and when he had finished, her face split into a wide smile again. She gazed at the male for a moment, noticing how handsome he actually was,
"I'd love to stay here".
