Kang-Dae was separated from his family at a young age. He was taken in by some lynxes, but had a falling out with them and now roams alone.

His biggest fear is that he'll be alone when he dies. He hates loneliness more than anything. Since he's had a rough life, he's often sad and depressed; however, he tries to mask his pain and sorrow with a happy-go-lucky facade. When others are around, he almost always smiles. He likes to joke around, but he doesn't prank anyone. He wants them to like him so that he doesn't have to be alone.
