[Closed] Trials in the Pridelands

Ruby chuckled and gave Kopa's muzzle an affectionate lick, "You too." she teased softly. Her amber eyes gazed around and everyone seemed to be in high spirits, Kiara and Kovu were now married. Ruby nuzzled Kopa's mane as she listened to everyone's conversations, the excitement of her own wedding day filling her head.


Nala slowly stood to her paws and she looked to Simba nodding, "Well everyone it seems its getting a bit late. Enjoy your night, because tomorrow we do it all over again. We will be marrying Kopa and Ruby, the future King and Queen of Pride rock." she said proudly. "I expect everyone to be there." she added raising an eyebrow to Kiara and Kovu.

Kopa nodded. "See you, tomorrow, beautiful," he said, his expression nearly identical to those of the young adult Simba when he was flirting with Nala just before their own marriage.

Simba smiled at Nala. "Come, my love. Let us return to our den now," he said.

Vitani cracked her back and sighed. "Come on children. Big day tomorrow! Ruby and Kopa are going to be married!" Grabbing Saffy and putting her on Mheetu, only because they had the same pelt, then grabbing Bianca and placing her on her back. Leaving Kamili last to grab, she picked her up and kept holding her by the scruff. "Come on!" Laughing, sounding quite muffled because of Kamili's fur.

Kiara got up from her sitting position, then started walking away slightly and turned her head to face Kovu. "Let us get some sleep." Smirking then walking slowly so he could catch up.

Folle licked her paw then licked Chaka's hot face. "I really hope he, or she looks like you." Looking up at him with her bi-coloured eyes.

Anakin groaned, "Shut up with all this BABY stuff. I'm trying to think of HOW we can get the Royal Family out of the Pridelands. Except for the rightful King and Queen and their soon to be Prince or Princess." Looking up with a disgusted face, the diamonds glistening off his face.

Simba decided to speak with Vitani, as he felt like doing so. 'Well, 'Tani, our family is about to get bigger yet again," he said with a smile. He thought about it. "And then bigger again when their cubs are born," he added.

"Alright," Kovu replied, yawning. He stood and walked to his mate's side.

Kopa went over to Kovu and Kiara. "Remember that when I'm king, you and I will be working together quite a bit. When I go on territory patrol, you will accompany me," he said to Kovu.

Chaka squinted his eyes as she licked his face. He cocked his head back and gave her a meaningful smile. His ears twitched at Anakin's groan and smirked. "Right, I forgot we bothered your oh-so-precious planning thinking." He rolled over from laying on his back and stretched his limbs. Chaka swallowed and licked his muzzle, flicking his tail. They hadn't had a satisfying meal in a month, munching on wary intruders in the cave.

Kopa smiled at his family. "Well, I hope you're all ready for me to take this next big step in my life," he said, looking at all of them.

Nala followed close by Simba as they stopped to chat with Vitani and Mheetu, "Yes, I can't wait for Kopa and Ruby to have cubs. But Kopa taking over the throne will also be another exciting day." she added softly standing beside her King.



Mheetu chuckled as Saffy was lifted onto his back and he gave Vitani a wink. Furry brown ears twitched as Simba spoke to them and Mheetu nodded. "Hold on tight Saffy.." Mheetu added glancing back at his daughter.

Saffy chuckled and her paws gently pawed at Mheetu's back, "Yes daddy." she giggled.


Ruby stood beside Kopa a big grin across her muzzle, she gave his mane a short nuzzle. She nipped at his furry ear playfully and then quickly got serious.

Vitani chuckled, "I can't wait to see the cubs of the newly weds." Smiling, then looking down. "I also can't wait to see Chaka and Folle's cub." Sighing, remembering her dear nephew. His mate wasn't the one of hunting, they probably haven't eaten anything. I'll go there later, putting a slight smile on her face. One that looked like her mothers. Quickly, she shook it off and smile normally. "Well. Simba, Nala. I have to bring back my little ones now. Or they'll be tired for tomorrows big event! Good night." Nuzzling them both then walking slightly away to give Mheetu a chance to say farwell.

Kamili frowned, "Mother, I'm not ti-" Being cut off by a sudden yawn then laughing. "I forgot to cough." Trying to get away from going to sleep. She definitely wanted to play some more!

Anakin chuckled, "This is for you. Not me." Sticking his tongue out at them and chuckling. "Also, for your youngster." Looking down again, digging his claw through the dirt. Somehow making a wonderful picture of Priderock from memory.

Another rush of evil ran through Folle's veins. "I'd like to kill Ruby, myself please." Eyes flickering with thoughts of her blood dripping from her claws.
