Just then, the Iron queen appeared with the Iron king and several of their animated stone soldiers, the Terracotta. "None of you are going anywhere." She said to them as she fired off several bolts from her staff.

Shadow, who had been forced to stay behind by his Parents watched the monitor. " I can't just sit here while that monster and witch destroys my friends and family." He said, trying to get past Jing King.

Sonic dodged the bolts, laughing as he did so. "Ah, Queenie, you missed me!" he taunted. Jing King stood in front of Shadow. "I won't let you go. It's not safe," she said.

"She's right Shadow." Cream said. Unlike Shadow, Cream was more receptive of Jing King. "Their fighting a tyrant, of course it's dangerous, but I can handle it." Shadow said, trying to jump over the Panda.

"I wasn't aiming for you" She taunted as the turned the ground around sonic into living water that started to drag him down.

Sonic sank and gasped. "Knuckles! Anyone!" he shouted, desperate for help. Meanwhile, Jing King remained firm. "No one is going after the Iron King. We shall all wait here," she stated.

"Hang on Sonic." Vector said, diving in to try and save him.

"Don't make me do something I'll regret." Shadow said as he took a fighting stance. "No Shadow, King Jing is only trying to keep us safe." Cream said, getting between them. She hated any kind of fighting.

Sonic waited for Vector to get him. "No one better than a croc to save you from drowning," he thought to himself. Jing King looked at her charges. "Look, you simply don't know what the Iron King is capable of. He's possibly the strongest being on Mobius," she said. The Iron King, eager for a fight, waded into battle. "You will all die here and now!" he shouted, raising his massive mace.

"So, I have a natural link to the Chaos force. The force embodied by the Chaos Emeralds, I can Take him." Shadow said, teleporting behind her. "See, what ever he can dish out I can take and dish some back." Shadow said. "Plus if I get into a jam, I just remove my inhibitor rings to show that big ballooka who's boss." shadow said, puffing his chest out.

Vector Got to sonic and pulled him free as the two swam to the surface.

Jing King frowned. "And I'm a trained Kung Fu warrior. I will use my abilities to keep you here," she said, taking up the crane style stance. The Iron King looked at Vector and Sonic. "A valiant effort, but it will be the last thing you ever do!" he said, preparing to bring his mace down on their heads.

Noticing a window behind him, shadow faked defeat. "well when you put it like that.." He started as he did a spin dash, breaking the window and successfully escaped from King Jing. He raced as fast as he could to help his friends and family.

"Oh no you don't." Julie-Su said, shooting the Iron King with her blaster. It wasn't strong enough to pierce his armor, but it did give Sonic and Vector time to get clear.

Jing King was furious. "Get back here right now!" she shouted, chasing after them. "I'm going to tell your parents about this!" she added. The chase continued. "Shadow!" she called out.

The Iron King turned to the female echidna, snorting furiously as he did so. "The glorious Iron King will not be defeated by a foolish pink girl!" he shouted, raising his mace to crush her.
