Delano nodded and also lay down once they decided that they walked far enough. Even though he didn't mention it, he was extremely grateful for the stop. As they walked, he had yet to properly recover his strength after the incident at the cleft, and now he finally had the opportunity to rest.

And what's more, Delano's mood lifted tremendously now that he wasn't forcing himself to keep walking. He saw that Muroki placed the rocks next to him, so Delano moved over so that they were in between the two of them. Smiling a little, he closed his eyes. "Good night, Muroki," he said.

Upon seeing the smile on his brother's face, Muroki was immediately able to tell that Delano had wanted to stop for a long time now, probably because of what happened at the top of the mountain. Why Delano hadn't asked Muroki to stop wasn't of any importance, so Muroki just nodded silently with a smile, "Good night." he said, placing his head down on his paws and also closing his eyes, falling asleep knowing that they were finally through with the training program.

Delano did not fall asleep right away. But as he lay on the ground, he started thinking. Even though Muroki hadn't mentioned it since his confession, Delano still believed that hid brother still liked Umeme. He wasn't sure about the love part, considering that Muroki barely knew her, but he still suspected that his brother at least was interested in her.

So what if he would try and get Muroki and Umeme together? Delano was certain that Kasi wouldn't object, and if they can get Muroki and Umeme to get over each other's nervousness, they might even make a good match. And then Muroki would become very happy.

Still thinking about it, Delano finally fell asleep.

When Muroki opened his eyes next the sun was just beginning to rise, the eastern side of the sky gaining a slight orange tinge. They were almost half of the way back by then, so Muroki figured that they could continue resting some more, since they've obviously had time. their rocks were still there, which meant that they would soon be done and on the way back home. He closed his eyes again, not going to sleep but just resting and waiting for Delano to wake up.

Delano woke up when the sun's heat became uncomfortable. He opened his eyes and saw that they were still in the middle of the savanna where they had spent the night. He looked at Muroki and saw that his brother was already awake. "You could've woken me up, you know." Delano said, "Oh.." He added when he realized that Muroki most likely had wanted not to leave right away. "Well, if you want to rest somewhat longer."

Delano thought about Kasi though. "But if you want to see Umeme sooner," he continued, "it'll be better if we leave now rather than wait." He smiled a little, feeling much better than the day before. "I would like to get going, but I'll wait if you want to rest for a little longer."

Muroki smiled as his brother woke up, "I figured that we have plenty of time and that I could allow you to wake up on your own." however as soon as Delano mentioned Umeme's name, Muroki was up and on his feet. "Uh, you're right, we will be better off if we finished with this as soon as possible." the way that only mentioning Umeme got him to change his mind was actually a little funny. Also the trainer might not be expecting anyone back by tomorrow morning, when their 72 hours period will be up, so the sooner they were there the funnier his reaction was going to be.

Delano almost laughed as how quickly Muroki changed his mind about waiting. But he got up anyways along with his brother. He grinned as he reached down and picked up one of the rocks. "Well, let's get going then," he said.

He started walking in the direction that will lead them back. Next to him, Muroki was clearly eager to get back, so Delano picked up the pace slightly. "We'll be back in good time, no need to rush too much," he said, grinning. "I'm sure you can wait half a day until we get back."

Muroki picked up his rock and joined his brother, smiling not only at the thought of seeing Umeme, but also about the thought of getting through with the program and showing the trainer how wrong he was. "Uh... Yeah, I'll make it." he couldn't think of anything to talk about as they walked though. He hoped that their aunt and uncle wont be too curious about their whereabouts and that Kasi haven't told anyone. Since they've decided to let go of the past and live a normal life, then there was no point of them knowing.

Delano noticed that Muroki didn't really want to talk, so he simply walked without saying a word. Soon enough, they'll get back, and be able to leave the training. He was eager to finish, but didn't see any point in exhausting himself just to end earlier, so he walked along at a normal pace next to his brother.

Muroki clearly was eager to get back, but Delano also saw that his brother was also slightly hesitant. Which made both of them. As much as Delano wanted to get back, he still didn't know how their return would be taken. Nor did he know yet what they should say when they would return.

Muroki continued to say nothing. He doubted anyone would have a problem with them returning, but he also hoped that they wouldn't get too pushy with their questioning once he and Delano told them that it was nothing. He also didn't really care if they'll get a little upset at that, he just wanted to get back and see them all already, Umeme in particular.
