Commanded the king as the warrior left with a bow.

"We're approaching the last know location of the transport." Chuck said, unaware that they were in stored for so much more.

"Yes, then we can make plans on how to take back our land." Mei said, leading them all out of Shri lank a.

Shang followed Mei, as did Sonic. Sonic then looked at Shadow. "You're going to be in such big trouble," he said with a small smirk.

"Well at least I didn't get shot down." Shadow said to his brother as they approached the landing zone. As soon as they did, a silver streak whizzed by striking down several resistance fighters. " Who are you!? Knuckles demanded as he attacked the hedgehog like figure. " It doesn't matter, you wont live long enough." He said, striking knuckles with an ax like weapon. Amy stood, dazed by this warrior's sudden appearance. 'It can't be, that's father's armor and AX.' she thought, but no one had access to them. "Chaotix, get him!" Vector said as all of chaotix attacked him. One by one they were beaten down. As the royal transport landed, Chuck and Hana watched in shock as the events unfolded. "Levi, someone stole my armor and AX" Chuck said, with good reason for concern. "Sonic, looks like we have to use the chaos emeralds on this guy." Knuckles said as he transformed into Hyper knuckles.

Sonic looked at Knuckles. "Let's do it to it!" he said. Meanwhile, Shang extended his claws and took up the beginning pose of the leopard style of Kung Fu. He looked at Mei. "I'm ready if anything goes wrong," he whispered to her.

As soon as they did, the tide seemed to turn, even if shadow hadn't gotten in on it. However, the fact he was even able to hold them off, even barely was in it's self a feat. This however seemed short lived as Hyper Knuckles knocked off the warrior's face guard, revealing his eyes. Shadow tried to use his chaos spears, but The warrior grabbed Shang and used his a shield. "No!" Shadow yelled as Shang was tossed aside. " Mei rand to his aid. Knuckles struck him in the gut and the warrior was sent flying backwards. However he got up.

From the royal transport, Chuck and Hana's eyes widened.

" This guy just won't stay down." Knuckles said before a ear piece he and the others were given before their mission turned on. "STOP!" Chuck and Hana said through the com link, When everyone looked back, the warrior was gone.

Later, after everyone was back at Shri lank a, Knuckles went up to his uncle. "Uncle chuck we had him, this was our chance to finish him, maybe our only chance." Knuckles said. "Now he knows about the super forms!" Vector said. " If it was reversed, he would've killed us without second thought." Charmy said. "Uncle, why did you have us stand down?" Knuckles said, regaining his composure.

Chuck sighed. "Because, he's our son." He and Hana said together. everyone's eyes widened. "That's why we stopped you, we couldn't let you kill our son." They explained.

"Father, how is that possible? Silver was killed in that car crash." Amy said.

"No Amy, he wasn't" Chuck said as he started to recount what happened.

:Flashback:

It was a dark and rainy night. Chuck, Hana, Silver and Amy were in a car. Having come home from visiting Hana's mother, the children were playing with the new toys she had given them. The happy Parents looked back at their children, unaware a semi truck was coming straight at them. Chuck quickly veered away. He then saw they were heading off the road. Unable to stop the car, Chuck and Hana grabbed the children and jumped out.

All four of them went over the edge, but caught onto a root with their burning car right below them. "Mom, Dad help me!" Silver said, dangling from Chuck's leg. "Silver, hold on honey!" Hana said. "I can't, I'm slipping!" He said. "Mommy, daddy, I'm scared!" The two year old Amy said, hanging on to chuck's back. "Someone Please Help!" Chuck cried out.

"I can help him." came a younger Iron Queen. "Who are you?" Chuck asked. "It doesn't matter. If I save his Life, He belongs to me." the Astral projection said.

"Never!" Chuck and Hana said together. "The choice is yours." The Iron queen said as she still remained there.

"Mom, Dad I'm slipping!" Silver said. " No, Silver!" Chuck cried out as Silver lost his grip and fell. " SAVE HIM!" Both Hana and chuck pleaded as the Iron Queen's astral Projection swooped down and saved him.

She then returned to them, holding an unconscious Silver. "Please we'll do anything, just give us back our son!" Hana and chuck pleaded.

The Iron queen laughed. " You will not see him again till his 17th birthday, he is mine now." The queen said as she vanished.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!" Chuck and Hana cried.

:end flashback:

"And today is his 17th birthday." A teary eyed Amy said as she wiped her tears away.

Sonic held Amy close. "There, there, Amy. Everything's going to be all right," he said in a calming tone.

" For ten years, we dreamed of seeing our son again..." Chuck started. "And for ten years, we feared the day he'd return." Hana finished. Amy finished drying her tears. "You could've told me, told us." She said, referring to the rest of the family. "We were ashamed, it was the most painful choice we ever had to make." Hana said to her daughter. "You had no choice." Shadow said, hugging his mother for comfort, knowing his parents would punish him for disobeying them. "Still we wonder.." Chuck said. "Shadow's right Sir Charles, you did have no choice." Espio said. "Uncle we won't fight him, and we'll do everything in our power to help get him back." Knuckles said as he and the rest of chaotix nodded.

Levi looked at Shadow. "First things first, everyone," he said. He looked at Shadow. "Shadow, I'm very disappointed in you," he said.

Levi sighed. "I warned you not to come. The Iron King could have killed you or sold you as a slave had he captured you. I allowed your brothers to come because they are trained and know what they are doing," he said.
