I just saw a picture of what's supposed to be his body...well all I can say is it looks a LOT like him, and he looks VERY dead.

^because when you become a dictator you have all power in your hands. You don't want people to be against you, because for you it's the ideal situation, a lot of money and power. So if people are against you, you just kill them or you send them to prison, but when all the people stand up at once you have a big problem. Almost all dictators become greedy, then become a tyrant and then get killed by their own people.

@Fluttershy: Power changes people, sadly. Well, not always, but in a lot of cases it does. If you let it get to you, you exploit it for your own gain, disregarding others. It's human nature, I suppose.

Hmm, good for Libya then. I'm not going to say I'm happy he died (I think that's kinda extreme lol) but I suppose it was for the best. I agree with the others, though... This will probably make matters worse.

He wasn't the worst dictator I have seen. besides now they have to re-arrange the whole country. I don't know how many were killed but I assume that it's not a small number. who has to pay for all these repairs? WE DO! and why did we help them again? because we care about the people that live there, don't kid yourselves we only helped because there's a lot of oil in Libya. It may be good for the country in the social factor but it's not in the economical factor and the world economy is already suffering. I tell you this is going wrong, wrong, wrong!

I completely agree that it will be better for the country on a long term, but we will have to pay.

you are right! If you have never seen someone who has been shot before in close-up just don't look. you must be prepared for it. they are very disturbing, especially when you haven't seen something like it before!
