This fanfic begins just after the end of TLK2, with the return of Kopa and Mheetu.

The sun's pale rays washed against the surface of Pride Rock. It lit up the savannah, dancing across the water and shimmering on the waving grass.

Inside the cave of Pride Rock, the lions slept in peace. In fact, ever since the battle with the outlanders, everything had been peaceful. A few skirmishes here, a few misunderstandings there, but King Simba had no major issues to deal with.

Just a month had passed since the Battle. Kovu and Kiara had yet to become King and Queen, but Simba and Nala were slowly aging. In time, the Circle of Life would begin anew.

The stones of Pride Rock glowed reddish in the dawn light. Huge shadows splashed the back wall of the cave. Simba's golden pelt was turned dark orange, and Nala's lighter one colored dark tan.
The King shifted his paws lightly, nudging his mate gently as she slept.

Beyond them, Kiara was pressed against Kovu. Vitani slept alone by the wall, and the rest of the lionesses; including Kula, Tama, and Haiba, lay in heaps around the den.

**After I posted this thread, I was overwhelmed with coming up with all the relations and characters. For instance, I had initially forgotten about Mheetu and Kula, Chumvi, Malka, Tama, and Tojo. So...because I want to keep myself prepared and not in heaps of confusion, I am setting this aside and focusing on the story of Mheetu. Sorry to keep changing plans. >.>

I'm a very indecisive person, aren't I?
