"They way I expected it to go", Gazna replied flatly. He knew what he was going to do would upset his mate, hopefully she wouldn't ask what was said. He glanced at his now sleeping daughter and a thought brushed through his head, "What if they do get hurt?". Gazna moved that thought away, thinking of a better future.

Haloea's ears flattened against her head as she realized that there was no progress at all in the direction of peace. "Please honey, think of our daughter..."

Gazna turned round and prevented himself from growling.
"I am! Our daughter will one day lead a pride with twice as large territory", he snapped. "She will be safe and so will you".

Haloea was slightly taken a back by her mate's sudden outburst. She had seen him do it with some of the pride members but he never did it with her. "We have enough territory." she said, sounding a little afraid to talk to him, "Are you sure you know what you're doing?"

Gazna growled and left the cave, he decided to prevent himself from doing something he would regret. He felt so mad, what he says goes and even his mate has to do as he says. He looked into the night sky, dreaming of ruling the entire land. The lion would do what ever it takes...whatever it takes.

(I'll let you do the time skip to cubhood, just start off as a normal cubbeh day, this will lead onto the first meeting of all the cubs)

Haloea sighed as her mate left the den looking obviously upset. She looked at her newborn daughter, again finding some comfort upon looking at her innocent and happy smile.

(( All of them, or just Moto and Uskiu first? ))

Time passed and soon enough the cubs were half a year old. There weren't any offensive moves from either the Jua pride or the Mwezi pride. Moto was looking for his mother. He wanted to ask her whether he could go outside and play like he did every day unless his father wanted to give him a lesson about leading the pride one day. He enjoyed those lessons most of the times but always lost interest whenever his father spoke about what backstabbers the Mwezis were and how they were not to be trusted. Soon enough, he found his two friends Dakari and Fadhili. "Hey guys! What do you wanna do today?" he asked, his usual smile on his face and his excitement noticeable in his tone.

Uskiu awoke early and pranced too her friend Kasi, who slept in a different den. It was going to be a quiuck lesson this morning, something about another pride and Gazna asked her to bring Kasi aswell.

Fadhili smiled happily at her friend and replied,
"Hiya Moto". She thought for a little bit and then spoke again, "I don't know, you mother mentioned something about a lesson to my mother last night so you'll have to ask her". Luckily enough, Lea stepped out of the den and smiled at the three cubs before her,
"You do have a lesson, all of you, with Durmo, he'll be here to collect you shortly, he's just been to get the usual morning report".

Kasi's eyes slowly opened as she felt Uskiu nudging him. He yawned slightly, before smiling as he noticed it was her, "Hey." he said, stretching and getting to his feet. "What's up?"

Moto looked up at his mother with a smile, "Okay mom." he looked at his two friends, "What do we do after the lesson?"
Dakari shrugged, "I dunno." he usually wasn't the guy who came up with ideas.

Fadhili had an idea, "Well, we haven't been to those huge rocks on the edge of the territory before, I heard there's like...small caves with crystals in the walls and stuff!".

Uskiu bounced around Kasi,
"We have a lesson, about the other pride! I've always wanted a lesson about them!". Gazna was making his way to the cubs, he already had thought about what he was going to say, he couldn't make it too...violent.

Dakari smiled at the idea, "That will be so cool."

Kasi yawned again, "Oh, them..." this would be the first lesson Gazna would give them about the Jua pride, but his parents already talked to him about them before.
