Name: Sethunya
Meaning: "Flower, blossom"
Age: 2.5 years old (cat years)/23 years old (human years)
Mother: Malenga {Adoptive mother}.
Father: Cetshwayo {Adoptive father}.
Siblings: Badrani ({Adoptive} Younger brother), Lesedi ({Adoptive} Younger sister).
Mate: Chinja [Baya].
Pride: The Zawditu Pride.
Personality: Sethunya, right off the bat of meeting her, will show off her tomboy behavior. She likes to kick back and relax with the boys-- but she also likes to rough play! This lioness isn't afraid to get down and dirty and will generally attempt and pull others into the mud with her for some fun. Even though it seems like Sethunya, or 'Seth' as her friends back home refer to her as, has got it all together, she can be pretty ditzy when it comes down to the most part. As she's not a deep thinker, that doesn't mean she isn't cunning and cheeky when it comes to getting what she wants or winning whatever she feels she needs to win.
Even though Sethunya likes to hang out with the boys, she's always up some girl time. She values her girls just as much as she does her boys-- the more friends, the better to her. Although she tends to be with the boys more since they don't attract in so much drama as females do. Seth likes to keep things simple and not complicate anything-- including guy friends becoming more than that...
History: When Sethunya was first born, she was thought to be a still born; her heart wasn't beating the first few minutes of being in the world. After a while though, she somehow started to breathe and lived a normal cub life even though her birth parents kept very close watch over her. When she was in her first years of cubhood, her parents started looking for other prides to take her as they didn't want to deal with her heart condition. Malenga and Cetshwayo, two lions who were passing by the lands, came across the pride and Sethunya, willing to take her in. Sethunya bonded very quickly with the two and called them her parents right away, leaving with them once they were ready to set off and start a pride all on their own.
As she grew up into a teenager, she never saw the means to have a mate. She hasn't had a mate in her life.
