Delano looked at his brother. "Uh, yeah, I kinda am..." He said. "I'd really hate to deceive them, but I don't know how they'll react to when we'll explain why we left." He sighed nervously. "Call us crazy, yes. But... what if they'll hate us?" He asked. "What if they'll start hating us for trying to start?"

e didn't want to imagine it, but now that he was thinking about it, it was impossible to avoid. He shuddered at what they might react as. "I just don't know if they'll accept what we did here. Even if we decided not to proceed with it..."

Muroki chuckled, nearly laughing, "Did that log hit you in the head or something? Why exactly would they hate us?" in Muroki's point of view, what Delano said was making absolutely no sense at all. And to think that so far he was the paranoid one. "I think that they'll be more focused on being relieved that we've decided not to carry on." It all made even less sense if the thought it about Kasi, who was actually the one to have given them the idea in the first place. Not that he had any belief in what Delano said, but he knew for sure that Kasi wouldn't hate them.

Despite his nervousness, Delano laughed at Muroki's joke. "It just might have," he replied. Somehow, that simple statement was able to bring him back to his senses and calm him down. Because Muroki was right: his fears did not make sense. "Yeah, I think you're right."

Delano smiled. "You're right. They'll be more glad that we're back. Thanks for that." Now the future seemed much brighter, and he felt his confidence come back.

Muroki lay down with a grin, "Of course I'm right." he said, but then couldn't think of any other conversation topic so he just lay there without saying a word. The further they went into the silence the more he stopped thinking about whatever they were talking about a moment ago and the more he was thinking about Umeme. He couldn't wait to see her again, even if once he saw her it will most likely end up in a friendly hello. Eventually, Muroki entered some sort of a day dream, which he might have tried to avoid if he hadn't forgotten that his brother was there.

It took a while for Delano to realize that their conversation had died down, but when he looked at Muroki, he didn't want to say anything. His brother looked like his mind was elsewhere, some better place, so Delano was content with leaving his brother alone with his thoughts.

He sat down next to Muroki, and thought about what it would be like to return to Kasi. Assuming that they would be taken in with no problems, he realized that he wouldn't have a goal anymore. Up until now, he had a goal, something to aim for. For a long time already, it had been to seek revenge. But now that they decided against it, he had the goal of returning, something they would do in only a few day's time. But after that...

Delano would think of what to do when he'll need to.

Muroki's day dream went on and on, and it was definitely helping him pass the time. It was like he and Umeme were the only two lions in the world, and the scenery was amazing, as if the ideal, home as he imagined it was also taking part. It was a colorful jungle with waterfalls and tall trees with large branches you could walk on. At some point, Muroki ended up talking to himself again. "You're so beautiful..." suddenly he snapped back into reality, and to his horror so that his brother was looking right at him. In the corner of his eye he could notice that the sky was already getting red, and quickly thought of something to say in an attempt to cover up for what he just did, "Um... What time is it?"

Delano smirked at his brother. "You're talking to yourself again," he said, "I just might start thinking you're crazy." But he still looked at the sun to answer Muroki's question. "It will start getting dark soon. Might as well eat some of that gazelle we got and retire early." He answered. "Tomorrow's going to be a big day. Might as well prepare for it."

But he still wondered why Muroki seemed to be talking to himself now. At first it was in his dreams, but now even when he is awake... Delano looked at his brother, trying to analyze him.

Muroki let out a short nervous laugh as his brother commented on the way he was talking to himself. Did he hear what Muroki had said exactly? Muroki hoped not, because he didn't want Delano finding out or even suspecting that he liked Umeme. He nodded at what his brother said next, thinking also that it was best if they ate not and went back to the complex to get ready to sleep. He then noticed that his brother was staring at him, probably for the same reason as a few moments ago. "Okay let's eat. You said yourself we might as well retire early." he said, speaking rather quickly and sounding nervous as he did. He went over to the gazelle and started eating without looking at his brother.

Delano bent down to eat, but he still noticed how Muroki seemed nervous. But why? "You seem awfully nervous lately, Muroki. Something on your mind?" Delano asked, feeling concerned. It was most likely nothing, but he was only half joking when he said that Muroki might be crazy. "First you talk to yourself and now you're nervous. Are you alright?"

As he ate, Delano thought that Muroki, apart from his strange new behavior, seemed fine. He didn't look sick, and he would have known if Muroki did anything that could have ended up with him getting hurt. So it was all in his head...

Muroki ate, noticing his brother in the corner of his eye but trying not to get anymore nervous than he already was. "Yes, I'm fine." even though it made no sense at all Muroki preferred to have his brother think he was crazy rather than having him know about his crush. "It's absolutely nothing to be concerned about." he said with another short and nervous laugh and continued eating. Biting into the gazelle and tearing its flesh was somehow helping him ignore the way Delano was staring at him.
