Ubaguzi roared again, "Did I say go and work? NO, you come with me." Grabbing his daughter from the tail and pulling her backwards as he walked into the dark forest. He just kept walking and walking and it seemed to go on forever. Finally, he threw her in front of him and growled. "I told you to work, and you don't. AGAIN. This is embarrassing me, and probably your friend. Why does he even like you? You are a dirty cub, with stripes that remind me how your ungrateful mother cheated on me!" Snarling at the small cub that sat in front of him.

Chafu was trembling, her father had never shouted at her like this before. However, she was also angry, he blamed her mother when he too had stripes on his face. She growled slightly,
"B-But your stripes are j-just like m-mine, my mother didn't cheat! If your scars are holy, than warthogs can f-fly!".

Ubaguzi roared, "You unholy, crazy cub! These are not stripes, they are a sign from the Great Kings and Queens of the past! I am destined for greatness, even your Grandmother told me this!" He slapped her across the face, leaving three cuts. Yet, they wouldn't leave scars. "Mongrel! Your eyes are filled with your mother's cheating. You don't even have her eyes, or mine! Her and I didn't even have stripes! Your ungrateful mother cheated and you are the product of it! I don't care if I never see your horrible, ugly face again! Get out of my pride, I'll find another cub to be mine." Picking her up by the scruff and throwing her into the forest then walking away with a delightful smile on his face.

The cub suddenly seemed alot smaller, she had silent tears sliding over her cut cheek. Chafu's father hated her, everyone hated her, she wouldn't be surprised if Lui hated her too. She couldn't even go back to say goodbye, she was too ashamed, these stripes has caused her only family member left to hit her and shout at her.
She got up and started walking away, she passed Lorcan, Lysander and Lucien, who had grins painted onto there faces.
"We saw it all 'you unholy, crazy cub!", Lysander recited. The young lioness sniffled and tried to get past but Lorcan stood infront of her,
"Where do you think your going, 'mongrel'!". Lucien pushed her to the floor,
"Now that your kicked out, we can't be blamed to harming you, so maybe you will join that 'ungrateful mother' of yours".
