"What exactly is a past?" She asked, chuckling. "My past no longer matters. All I want is to live in the future, and the present, with you." She smiled and looked down, realizing her paw had been absently tracing a heart. She blushed and looked away.

Hakara eyes looked her over. "Yes, our future. The one where we spend an eternity together, an eternity of happiness," he said.

[Applejack]

Vitani blushed as she realized he was truly looking at her and turned her head to the side. She absently reached up and pawed at her hair tuft for a moment before smiling and looking closr at Hakara. "A future where nothing else matters but you, me, and our happiness."

Hakara looked closer at her. "And any cubs that might come in the future," he said.

At that comment, Vitani blushed a deeper shade of red. She thought her eyes might match the color of her cheeks soon. Looking up at Hakara, she purred. "When might that come to be?" She asked.

Hakara smiled slyly. "Any time you wish, my love," he said.

[Applejack]

She grinned and gave him a sweet lick. "Cool your jets, hot rod," she snickered. "Not out here in the grasslands. Perhaps we should find somewhere a little more... private?"

Hakara looked around, the sly smile still on his face. Finally, his eyes fell on a private place behind some rocks. "There," he said.

[Applejack]

Vitani swatted at him with her good paw, chuckling. "What about my paw?" she asked. "Wont it interfere?" She looked away, sighing. "I've never even thought of this, you know. I've knwon all my life that I'd never do anything like this with a lion. I never thought I'd have a mate."

Hakara nodded. "We could always wait until your paw heals," he suggested.
