Vitani smiled softly and turned to Hakara for a second. "That, I can live with," she said quietly. She nuzzled him once before turning to face Kovu and Jasmine. "Jasmine," she began, "Kovu had nothing to do with Kopa's death. Mother betrayed you and me by killing Kopa when we were no more than young cubs. How could Kovu kill when he wasn't old enough to think for himself?"

Jasmine was happy to see Kovu return but she didn't show it "what do you want" she asked as Kivu entered the den, she then turned to Vitani "I'm not blaming him for killing him but he should have told me who did, I was shocked to here that it was your mother" she told the lioness

"You think it's something that is easily shared, Jasmine?" Vitani shot back. "Your father killed my brother. Think about that one, will you? Our parents are alike in that aspect. Even if Simba didn't raise a paw to Nuka, He's the reason he's dead!"

Rafiki, who had been listening, stepped over. "Please, dis will not solve anything. Now, let us talk and work dis problem out," he stated.

Vitani turned to face Rafiki. "What would you know about me, monkey," she hissed. "Thisqueen refuses to see past what has happened! She can't see how close we are alike. Just because my mother did what she did gave her no right to kick out Kovu! It isn't easy to talk about these things as it is!" She turned away, pressing her flank against Hakara. Her whole body was shaking, but this time with anger.

Rafiki heard a rumbling sound from outside. "Come. Someone has returned from de netherworld in order to help us through dis," he said.

Glancing at Hakara, Vitani looked back at Rafiki. "Whatever," she grumbled and stepped forward, limping on her bad paw. "Lets get this over with. The sooner this fighting between the families is over, the sooner I can rest my paw. someone has to hunt around here."

(K, so, Kovu and Jasmine had a large fight because of the cubs names. Vitani freaked out on kovu and ran off, but was helped and comforted by Hakara, who she feels she's growing close to now. Kovu, Vitani, and Hakara went back to talk to Jasmine, but Jasmine doesn't care about what happened. She cares about the secret that Kovu kept from her to keep her from being upset like she is now. Rafiki is now taking the group outside.)

Just then, the voice of Simba was heard. "Come, everyone. We have much to talk about," it said. Rafiki smiled. "Ah yes, dere he is," he said.

Vitani's eyes widened and she shook her head in disbelief. "It can't be," she said, her face twisted in fear. "He's going to send me down. He's going to smite me! I can't go out there!"
